Just ordered the Bullitt lower grille and black pony grille emblem from Tasca. Was debating on doing the FP Bullitt style upper and lower but I do like the fangs on the factory grille. Since I have to pull the bumper off I figured might as well swap the chrome emblem out and put the Ford black emblem on too.
I did the Bullitt lower grille too. It just looks better with the same gloss black and grille pattern as the upper. I wanted to keep the chrome pony though.

After I took these pics I realized my hood was a little high on the passenger side so I had to fix that too.
That looks really good. I was really on the fence about the FP upper and lower but I like the fangs and having the pony in the grille. Since I’m going to have the bumper off I should be able to swap the chrome pony out without breaking the tabs so if I don’t like the black pony I can always swap the chrome one back in.
This is the exact mod I want to do the next time my front bumper comes off, and I still have this screenshot of its part number in my mustang jobs list … lol

Whilst not a job on the mustang, I was out shopping last night and I think I found my perfect Christmas themed mustang driving attire :

I bought this trunk net and it's a perfect fit for a fraction of the price.

Thank you :like:

I do actually have the original Ford net, but it' second hand (thrown in completely unexpected with something I bought from ebay). I needed a small repair which is currently holding, but at some point in time I guess I will need a replacement :like:

Last prep before Road Atlanta this weekend.

Swapped out the Pagid RSL29 for GLOC R12 in the rear. Looking forward to seeing how a higher compound will affect braking. Running Pagid RST3 up front

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know if the bullitt lower grille works with the ACC?

I believe so. I don’t see anything that says it won’t.

I do my own maintenance so I never have a chance to accrue Ford Points. I had points from when I bought the car 6 years ago so I decided to redeem them. I wanted something to replace my street plate while on track. Not a bad buy

New sticker for the start button. From one of my favorite movies.

The Ford one is very high quality and IMO worth the price. I don't miss my aftermarket one lol

Yesterday I picked up 2 sets of Apex SM-10 19x11” wheels from @RandomTask (your Mach 1 is amazing sir!) and today I tried on the new shoes!

Washed the car and did a quick photoshoot of the current wheels as well as the new sets 😁

All three of those sets of wheels look great on the car! I don't know which one I like best. What is your favorite?

After my last track day I noticed that I had a bit of a ”clunk” when hitting the brakes. Turned out to be a bad ball joint (I use ALL of the track which includes the rumble strips and curbing).

So, today I replaced my front upper control arms (tension links) with a set from Steeda with the spherical bearings pre-installed.

I agree, all three look great. I'm kind of partial to the Apex Anthracite wheels, but I'm trying to reserve both Apex sets for the track and stick with the SVE SP2 19x10 wheels for the street.

I’ve had this scratch on my car fender for a while but I finally got around to trying to sand and lessen its impact. It’s still there but it’s much better than it was. Just needed the right materials. I first made it worse before I made it better. The area around the scratch was worse due to me not having the finer sandpaper. At least the scratch is smooth along with the area around it.
