The tuning for the HPP engine is really well done and the turbo is big enough for the engine to make peak power past 6000rpm unlike the regular EB engine. Unlike the regular EB, it doesn't drop power past 5000rpm. Its torque curve is something like 90% of peak torque from 2000-4400 rpm. It's fucking awesome. I love turbos.That's because the boost kicks in really early on those. Although I have to disagree here, I put my GT in drag mode and launched it hard and the HPP did not even come close to the violence our coyote is capable of right off the line.
That being said, I don't think anyone is going to argue that a HPP is going to compare to a GT at full throttle. From a dig or roll. That's certainly not what I was saying.
