Waited for it to come back from the wrap shop. Redoing roof wrap and having everything cleaned up. Should be back tomorrow.

I gave it some gas a couple times from stop, it goes from 185-186 and drops down to 165. Then raises, under Wot it must dump more coolant vs just casual driving. That 186 to 165 is an instant drop.
I wonder if the ECM would go into open loop at that point....

30 second mod, no tools required - just pop it on the existing mounts. Don't know why I didn't buy one a long time ago ... handy to keep those grocery bags (etc) from flying around the trunk.

Redeemed my Ford Pass points for the black lug nut kit from Ford Performance. They were like $250 or something through the dealer, but that turned into $40 for me after my points, lol. Not sure if I wasted my money though, they clearly aren't 1 piece like the aftermarket ones. But for how much they cost, I would assume they won't swell like the stock ones.

I was messing around with a Civic the other day. He/She started puling on me for a moment around ~60mph. Kept it in 5th and caught up soon, but my car was feeling slow. So...I picked up a new license plate frame.

I should try and cash in my points for the Ford Performance wheel center caps. I want them but not at nearly $40 a piece.

They may not be any more resistant to swelling/deforming than the oem units, but two things really does these in over time:
-impacting with an impact gun when installing/removing
-corrosion

On the note of impacting, I've seen great success preserving stock oem lug nuts by breaking torque with a breaker bar on all lug nuts before using the impact to take it off the rest of the way. On install, let hit hit with the impact for a minimal amount of time, and torque the rest of the way to spec. Minimal impact time = longer outer sleeve lifespan

Oh, and those black ones look awesome btw :sunglasses:

yes, sorry to say - all those are is the OEM aluminum capped lugs painted black…. I would return them and get something else for your points…. They’re definitley going to swell, dent, and the coated surface will get damaged (cheap coating).

Get the Gorilla lugs, many have posted positive remarks about those as being the best choice.
