I get a little "clunk" and a shift of the seat when cornering hard... I always wondered if something might be loose under there. I don't get anywhere near the movement you did in yours, but it's worth looking at. Any tricks to getting the trim off?
In the Southeast here, where a cold winter morning is 45... I called 'em hockey pucks when I still had summer tires. They were stupid-hard when that cold, as Cobra Jet points out. I swapped for A/S once they wore out (which happened quickly).
Ok, so this relates to my situation as well. I fired the parts cannon at a "crank no start" situation that turned out to be mice eating my wiring harness. In the process, I replaced the stock fuel pump assembly with some Chinesium that is noisy and has in a few isolated situations given me...
This right here. Me and the missus (you'll appreciate this [much] later down the line) go on weekend getaways and that trunk swallows whatever we throw into it. It's deceptively large. This stupid car is every bit as long as her SoccerMom SUV, and it comes out in weird places. 1) the engine...
Congratulations on your purchase, and feel for the boundaries where and when it's safe. Like any power tool, or fire for that matter, it can be good or it can be the other thing. Learn the limits of you and your machine, and have fun getting close. :-)

As I tell my kids, "you'll never get out of a body shop under $1k" and so far that's been my experience, even with the little stuff. We go to a top-notch place nearby, and they work magic - but it's not free.
I'm starting to spec out (i.e. dream about) my next Mustang, and I show the Ford builder app pictures to the wife occasionally... she has particular requirements when it comes to colors, etc. Asked specifically about the wing, she says "that car should have a spoiler." Case closed for me.
Sitting that long, wasting away in a garage - all the rubber seals are surely shot, and the gas in the rails is turpentine. I'll bring a trailer and take it off your hands for no charge at all. :giggle:
A butt dyno is a fickle thing, subject to our expectations and emotions. If he expects gains from his tune and isn't getting all he expects, maybe it "feels" slower?
The Diode Dynamic sequencer (assuming it's not built into your Euro lights, your wording was a little unspecific there) is an inline device - you should be able to just yank it from the car and reconnect the two stock ends to remove it from the suspicion list. One easy test before firing the...
I definitely had that same blue fuzz on the negative terminal, and the connector was definitely not salvageable. I bodged something else together, but getting an OEM terminal back on the negative side is on my to-do list.
