Found a picture from Roush's install guide with the differences in under car aero between PP and none PP.

I guess this is why the lips are not exchangeable. PP's aero is smoothed out and extended way back compare to none PP.

Because the PP pan channels air to the brakes.

PP yes or no?

Could I get some pros and cons about the Performance Package? I mean, if you don't actually race and you use your GT on an everyday basis. I'm personally a little afraid that it might be a jarring suspension, but I don't know.

Thank you!
I do not race at all and my Mustang is a real DD. But the extra money you pay up front for the PP is a good investment. Specially for the BREMBO brakes you are getting with the GT.

My Mustang is the EB PP because I needed the MT. Depending on what your likes and needs non-PP AT or PP MT, if - I would choose the PP because of the price/value point of view.

Agreed!

Count me in the minority; I love mine. Wouldn't exchange them for any other OE S550 wheel style except for the 50th LE's (and not the 50AP with its silver finish).

I like wheels that sparkle in the sunlight; chrome all the way. The V6 Pony Package wheels on my S197 were PERFECT. I should have taken them off it when I traded it in. It's basically impossible to find good chrome wheels for the S550; I'm perplexed.

Seriously, these were the most beautiful wheels I can imagine:

Totally agree. OEM are all too narrow though. I went with bright silver drifts in 9.5", but wish these would have been available wider.

Although I have to say, love "The Gladiator" gif..:D

Besides all that the PP wheels are hideous and in black make them look even worse, not to mention they can be used for a boat anchor.

I think now in the S550s when the car comes with a great stance from the factory, PP is worth it. Before, guys would swap out most of the suspension to improve handling and lower the stance. The PP may not be track ready, but most people are probably far less likely to need suspension mods after your 2,500 investment.

For the people saying the PP Brakes are overkill on the street, please go drive the Dragon. You'll be happy you can make more passes without brake fade with the giant 6 pots.
