Question the size/weight video didn't address:

What are typical stock weights for relevant external parts including flywheels and pressure plates, flywheels, flexplates, master and slave cylinders, etc?

Also does the GT 500 use something similar to an automatic's flexplate for the ring gear and whatever other functions of a flexplate?

I agree you need to add the external parts for the manual transmission to get an accurate comparison. The 10R80 with torque converter is approximately 10lbs less than DCT.

Tremec sales the DCT however the price is around 20k for just the transmission only.

So, will we get this transmission in anything else? Say like an Explorer RS with a 3.5L Ecoboost V6 pushing 475hp/510tq? Maybe something with this upcoming S650 Mustang, hopefully behind a 425hp 3.0L Twin turbo V6 as an option along with a 3.0L 10-speed auto and a 10-speed hybrid 3.0L and all of them with AWD.
