Just for reference…the stock battery in my 2014 GT lasted until late 2020..built in late 2013. So basically 7 years. It didn’t die but it sounded real funky and it tested poorly.
Caily driven about 25 miles a day. Climate is costal California.
I think that new BMW M3/M4 look is f'kin RAD. Love it. This is hwo big Ford needs to go here. This incremental BS on top of a "vintage inspired" design is played out. Dodge is retro, Chevy retro, Ford Retro. Who's gonna go big here and take the spotlight?
I always remember something that...
I though tPP1 was a rip off at $4k, for sure it is at $6300?
Ridiculous.
It's not like you're getting anything extra, besides the one gauges and spoiler and coolers..
All the other shit is just different variations (size, finish, type) of the same old parts.
Two doors, V-8, manual, Ford.
Was almost born in a '65, here I am 4 decades later on the 6th one.
Only car I've ever bought that wasn't a Mustang was a Ranger. Traded it for a 2002 GT. Buy hey, the Ranger was two door, Ford, Manual...but it was a V6. lol!
I had a red 71 Mach in High school. It was a 351C 4V with a C6. Had a red interior.
We put an intake, hooker long tubes, flows, dumps, a huge solid lifter cam, a 750 Double pumper and 4:11 gears. Like you said, that shit pulled hard up top. I eventually had a 950 Pro series holly on it and...
Yeah, driver weight reduction mod?
LOL, but seriously, I like the Recaros, but I know the exact feeling you're describing. I don't know how I'd like them on an all day drive.
They really grab ya in the riblets.
Amazing. I had a Black 2002 GT and it had a dent across the wheel arch crease. Right on the crease.
I'll be damned if the guy didn't get it out in 15 minutes. Eventually I forgot what side it was on.
It was completely removed without paint damage.
They are miracle workers.
Can't argue with that. I own a '14 GT, and while it's been generally solid, the front suspension creak (that a new lower A-arm didn't fix) and the classic hood rot, have bothered me.
The Voodoo engine failures have been a real drag. And teh BBQ tick.
About damn time, seriously. I sat in a...
This. All electric cars don't interest me. I like cars specifically because of V8 engines.
No V8? I'm not interested.
If I have to drive one in 2050 to get around, so be it. It won't give me the feels.
I know the Coyote is about $9.5, and Godzilla can be had for $7.5K.
-half the valves/guides
-half the valve springs
-half the rockers
-one quarter the number of cams
-one timing chain instead of four
-one cam phase instead of four
-half the aluminum in the head
-all the less time labor to put...
Right? I know nobody think this engine will end up in the Mustang, but...
Riddle me this:
Why would Ford offer the 6.8L and the 5.0L in the F150. The 7.3 is only for Super Dutys.
-What is the take rate on the 5.0 in teh F-150?
-How much more does a 5.0 cost to manufacture than a 6.8 w/ iron...
Yeah, maybe they mean every one will be "electrified" instead of all electric.
I'd be cool with a smaller V8/Hybrid with the motor at the engine/trans area or at the wheels.
We've all seen the drawings of the V8 with the front motors...like you said man.
I could stomach a hybrid V8, but...
