Bad weight transfer - foot off the gas straight into full understeer mode.

I beg to differ. It was likely heatsoak issues causing liquids to leak on the track and under the tires and thus a spinout... or it could’ve simply been a immaturity behind the wheel. JK :ford:I saw that. The scary part is that he actually corrected properly and the car just didn’t respond. Guess he forgot about the existence of a brake pedal. GM was in immediate and untruthful (per usual) damage control mode, blaming it on track and weather conditions (on a nice, dry and clean track with beautiful weather going on).
Watching the replay he still had his foot on the gas and rear tyres were still spinning as he hit the wall. In slow motion it appears like it was a novice driver behind the wheel but apparently Reuss has racing credentials.Bad weight transfer - foot off the gas straight into full understeer mode.
Who else remembers when the previous ZR1 was taken to the Nurburgring? It pulled a great time but the driver suggested it was quite dangerous vehicle at the limit. Seems like nothing's changed.
No idea. Maybe the question is why was Ruess testing its limits..Why would a pace car be at or near its limits?
Because that's pretty typical. Near the limit for the pace car is 3/4 tenths for something like an Indy car.Why would a pace car be at or near its limits?

The front page?hold
Because even the ZR1 is miles slower around a racetrack than a top-tier open wheel car. They have to keep the actual race cars going at a reasonable pace. To do that, even a car like the ZR1 needs to boogie. There are non-performance cars used as pace cars as well, why would a super-high-performance Corvette be even close to its limits?
hold
hold my beer..:cheers:The front page?
You do understand that the parade lap has a max speed of 75mph... Right?Because that's pretty typical. Near the limit for the pace car is 3/4 tenths for something like an Indy car.
ya i love that as well. you can see when he corners just how hard he is pushing the car and then the F1 cars come around like they are in slow motion with no effort.I like watching the videos of the AMG GTR in F1.
He drives the living hell out of the car and the drivers still complain that he is going too slow.
