Yeah any 285-305 will work on the front, and any 305-315 on the rear.

budget 305 tires .. not really a thing, you’re looking at 340-360 for good ones which aren’t overpriced. You don’t need a mortgage, you can sleep in your car.

what are you going on about? Any of 285/35 to 305/30 work just fine. There's LOTS to choose from in that size range.
current tire on it is 305F and 325 rear. Not sure what I should go with.

doens't matter. If you're flogging it at HPDE 305/30 square is just fine. Consult tirerack.com's specification tab and you can see what the ideal as well as min/max fitment width is for various tires.

Thanks bro. So even if the rears are .5" wider i could still get away with a square 305 set-up you think?

It's better to have your tire stretch .5" than bulge ;)

I bought some 6gr wheels in 19x11F-19x11.5R.

Did not realize that I'd be super limited in tire options. Now the only reasonably priced tires I can get are Ventus V12 Evo2 and Conti ExtremeContact Sports for about 1.1-1.2k. Other than that it's PSC-2 for about 1.6k. Anyone have any friendly recommendations.
I haven't checked load capacity, but there are a few sizes that could work on those wheel widths.

19x11 - 275/35, 285/35, 295/35, 295/30, 305/30
19x11.5 - 295/35, 305/30, 315/30, 325/30

I have 11 inch wide in the rear and 10 inch wide in the front could I run a 275 square set up right now i have 275 front and 305 rear nitto nto5. If I can it would nice not to have to buy another pair of 10 inch wide for the rear but I will if you think it's necessary. Thanks for any advice Norm you always seem to have a lot of knowledge on these cars.

I was unaware of this...how does that work, on the USAA site?
log into the USAA website. do a search for 'goodyear', and click the link and it'll redirect you to goodyear and when you add tires you'll see the discount.

I might have missed it but one consideration is how your car is getting to the track. Unfortunately I've always had to drive to and from the events so tire wear was and is always a big concern. The track that you drive will also have an affect on tire wear etc. I totally agree that getting used to driving your car at speed, braking, and handling are all critical as your experience level grows. Attending an event will also allow you to not only talk to other enthusiasts but will give you an opportunity to look at their tires from different groups (more aggressive driving) and this can provide some help in your future purchases. The great news is that you will get to enjoy your car at speed and you will never be sorry for the decision. Best of luck in your search and happy motoring.
