Weve had some 90* days and it Definitely gets hot with stock ic.It took 2days of hot weather to push me into getting one. I ordered the Levels intercooler.cant wait for it to arrive:clap2:

Levels is a great piece. I installed one for a customer 2 weeks ago. His temps at Laguna Seca were great as well!

Update...

We installed the intercooler on our shop car last night and did some quick runs watching the Cobb datalogger. AIT temps only rose 4-8 degrees above ambient in a 2-3-4 gear run :eyebulge: We will be extensively datalogging the car once we install the Mustang GT bellypan(we swapped out the front difusor and the base Ecoboost belly pan doesn't fit) which means things can only get better as some of the airlfow is dumping out under the car vs being forced through the intercooler. Generally our datalogs consist of:

2-3-4 gear runs vs stock and back to back to back 3rd gear runs vs stock logging the following parameters:
-pre and post intercooler temperatures
-pre and post intercooler pressure drops

All of our tests are done same day, same road and we also strive to maintain consistent starting AIT,, ambient and coolant temps.

Price for this initial production run is $729 plus shipping and we will start shipping these late next week as we have a few people that have already left a deposit.

We are extremely happy with the way this design has turned out, it does require the removal of the louver system BUT nothing is permanently modified other than that

Last evening in 87 degree temps the highest wide open throttle AIT we saw was 95 degrees through a 2-3-4 gear run :eyebulge: this am on a just started cold car we saw a peak of 72 degrees with a 68 degree ambient through 2-3-4 gears, this intercooler is 27lbs of heat absorbing badness, we will gladly put it up against any other offering in INDEPENDANT Testing

On track data for Levels Performance intercooler

As a follow up to the Levels Performance intercooler thread, I want to post this datalog. Check the timestamp and you'll see that I'm 10 minutes into a track session (Sebring).
Ambients were 95-97 that day and God knows HOW hot on the track. Check out the downstreams on this beast!! We'd seen downstreams of 170f on the dyno with the stock unit and barely cracking 100f with a little airflow and the Levels in place. But this is real world. Air moving through it and it doing its job.

I'll chime in too, I have the Levels Performance FMIC and prior to it I had tons of heat soak, now the car pulls the same consistently!
