Agree 100%
If you look at engine cooling as a package with oil being a part of it and coolant the other part, it doesn’t make much sense to cool the oil with a huge cooler in front of the radiator if the end result is a great reduction in the cooing capacity of said radiator
It’s why i mounted mine parallel to the ground
did you include a fan? pics?

I am in the process of doing an oil cooler parallel to the ground similar to Harrop's package. I have the large heat exchanger for my whipple so there is already too much in the way. Last weekend I modified the brackets for the heat exchanger so I can move it up an inch to make room for the parallel heat exchanger below everything. Hose and AN fittings arrived today so I will make some more progress this weekend.

I hope this hood vent will finally solve my coolant/oil temp issues at track days. The larger rad, oil cooler, and ducting wasn't enough, so I'm hoping this does the trick. Road America, 4/29-5/1...fingers crossed!

I too installed the Harrop Oil Cooler. Using the GT350 Oil Temperature Gauge that I’d previously installed it apppears to have dropped the oil temperature @ 20*.

I don't know about this Harrop kit...
The "lay-flat" location seems fine for air entering the cooler but seems like it'd be quite restricted for exit air flow.
Also the price. The Mishi kit is tempting at $760 but the Harrop at $1265??? You could piece together a Setrab 948 for the same price and have the best cooler setup for a Mustang. (FP350S uses a Setrab 948)
Pay the same money for a smaller cooler...I don't think so.

1265 is the rhd kit in Australian dollar
In the us it’s around $900
Kit come with everything , lower hose, fittings, oil lines , adapter and more importantly, custom brackets
Obviously you are paying for r&d and they need to make a profit
I have no problem with that
Its a much better and higher quality solution than Mishimo

For some reason Harrop's US site doesn't list the oil cooler anymore. I was in talks a few months ago with their US team on how to make the kit work with the Whipple Heat Exchanger and Intercooler tank potentially in the way. We had some back and forth through email and then they went silent. Not too sure what happened there so I started to piece my version together. I am in somewhere around $400 in parts plus sweat and time. Their $900 price tag isn't unreasonable.

aussie dollar. I tried to get a group-buy going on the Harrop last year to no avail.
If you want one, PM me NOW!! with your zip code. I have a quote inbound for 2 units (my cars) so maybe a tiny discount available.

I'll pass on Harrop.
Either going Mishi kit cause it's cheap or piece together a 948

You are better off building you own version of an Harrop than getting a Mishi
Their test data is a joke, for those that don’t know, they stated a 20* reduction at cruising speed on a highway, yep, you read that right, cruising under no load !!!!
