not mustang related but i did pick this up off facebook marketplace, a carbon brake disc blank from JDC Miller motorsports as they are local here in MN. $30, its super light. Then i immediately bent the card to go with it. they do ship things too
first clip is my fastest pass with a 1.96 60', probably because it was like 60 degrees out. i don't see my car picking up a lot of power anytime soon, so will i able able to cut a faster 60' to get my ET down? after the 2-3 shift traction isnt an issue and could just be extra rotating mass.
i ordered the sensor today, 145 shipped. funny i was interested in those stickers for my calipers last year but when i tried ordering some from OMEGA they wanted $20 for 10 stickers and 20 for shipping. feel free to send any partially used rotor paint or stickers for a comparison
i took a look at your suggestion, it seems like it would of been a good place but it looks like that bolt is exactly the length of the caliper boss (or from what i could tell by the reflection off the rotor as i did this with the car on the ground). is 2 or 3 mm less of thread engagement really...
Incase anyone didnt look at the datasheet, is it possible that this sensor is tailored for a narrower use case than say a general use household IR gun? maybe its a crapshoot
99% emissivity
8-14 µm wavelength...
looking strictly for wheels at the drag strip, honestly they wont get used much, and i am just looking for something affordable. feel free to school me on tires, i also found these which are 555's but those rims look heavy and the tires are look more worn
ive been looking for drag wheels on and off, found this on facebook. thoughts on these? Since i only have an ecoboost and not a 1000hp v8, is there a point of diminishing returns with size? are these rims pretty light weight? is this an okay offset for s550? It looks like the seller had an s197
I'm looking at adding a IR brake temp sensor which will be datalogged with an Arduino during track use and overlaid onto track footage. Here is the 800C sensor , which is 0-5V. i have been exploring places to mount it that put it within 50mm of rotor. I printed out the sensor and the sight cone...
thanks for replying, with that app are you able to see the history of your temp? i let it run during 2 20 minute track sessions and 2 cooldown periods of letting the car idle with heater on full blast. i didnt feel like trying to sync with video. i estimated where i thought the track time...
i also have a ebpp ,is the pp2 lower splitter required to use the pp1 bellypan ( JR3Z17626B )? Or can i get by with only the pp1 lower lip (JR3Z-17D957-CA)
edit; i bought just the pp1 and the lower one wasnt necessary
i have a premium perf package ecoboost that i want the GT PP belly pan for. i picked up the JR3Z17626B pan yesterday with my ford points. My stock bellypan is jr3b-6a975-c , but i wasn't able to find the p/n of the splitter with it on the car [edit jr3b-17f775-ab]. i understand i need a...
3DP two fixtures for my cubical, using topology optimization for one of the parts to hold a bent 2.3 ecoboost rod i received, and another to hold the impeller from a 3.5 ecoboost
just ordered charge pipes. does the stock cold side expand under pressure lol. i put a gopro looking at my fans while driving and it kind of looked like it did expand.
sorry, to be more clear. i need a picture of the original part looking down centered over the part, similar to how i have it shown, with the phone flat. i also need a length dimension like i drew with the green line, and also the part thickness.
