I never inputted my VIN anywhere and eveyrthing still works. Is that important? What does it do?

No idea but am wondering if that was the reason my Forscan profile load showed so many DTC’s. I have been running with this incorrect VIN for months and never noticed anything weird. Got back into Forscan to increase the bass and volume of my stock 6 speaker radio and just started looking in all the drop down modules out of curiosity. Saw the VIN for the first time in BdCM and corrected it. Then saw it again in at least 2 other modules but it was correct in them. Will be driving it tomorrow for the first time since making several changes, hoping nothing goofy happens.

Ugh so test drive results are... no steering wheel radio control buttons work (including phone) except up and down volume. Dammit! Also, when the car is shut off, the screen goes blank but won’t shut off for a long time. Thought I had it figured out but guess not.

I’ve found FYI no code line matches for a 2020. The 02 doesn’t exist.

Has any 2020 owner upgraded to sync3? I don't seem to be able to fix hazard toggle switch. The 726-29 line in the Bodycm as built is different. There is no 02 line.
I downloaded a premium 2020 as built and they match what I have for 726-29.
Also lost FordPass connection, but that's a different topic. Any help is appreciated.

Loaded the APIM.abt backup file and everything works now, so the problem was in there somewhere.

I changed it from xxxx xxx1 xx to xxxx xxx0 xx and now hazards behave as expected, thanks for the tip.

Anyone know what I need to mess with in forscan to get radio working correctly?

I bought an plug and play harness but guessing I need some stuff tweaked in forscan because only my right speakers work with the Bluetooth audio and I gotta changed audio format using the audio request button but I don’t hear the lady either

FYI I have a 2016 PP1 and went from the sync 1 to sync 2

After doing my swap, my position on the map seems to be inaccurate sometimes. It is usually correct, but every once in a while will show me as several kms away from where I actually am. Anyone know how to fix this?

I purchaced SYNC3 manufactured in January 2020 with ver 3.4 and it worked fine in my 2015 GT Premium.

Yes. I bought one from a 0ctober2019 and it’s worked fine. Came from a bullit. Updated it using the vin on the official sync page. Had to do a lot of as built modifications but got it running sweet now.

Hello I installed a Sync 3 in my base 2015 GT everything is working fine until I tried to make a call with my phone the volume was very low and hard to understand. I thought I might have a problem with the programming so I hooked up Forscan and found the following error codes:

Ok I did some more research and trying with Forscan. I cleared now U0238, B10B5 and B10B6 but I have still the two solar sensor error.
Can anybody help me with these?
