Hi. What I found worked for my swap from a sync 2 to a sync 3 was dl the factory as built data for your car via forscan and then adjust the little tweaks you want. It worked mostly for me. I had numerous issues and this method virtually solved it. Hth

Yes. I bought one from a 0ctober2019 and it’s worked fine. Came from a bullit. Updated it using the vin on the official sync page. Had to do a lot of as built modifications but got it running sweet now.

Hi. Will a sync 3 manufactured in 2019 work in a 2016 mustang? Is there any differences between the different years they were manufactured? I’d just prefer to get the newest one possible. Cheers
