My car is a DD and I've gone through spherical bearings before that wore out in a year due to outside elements.

BMR or steeda, any info on the longevity of these parts on a daily driver???

That was precisely the question that started this thread in the first place.

In the end I went with the option that seemed to be the "biggest bang for the buck" solution.

What were the bearings made of? BMR's?

I must not be that familiar with delrin because I would think stainless or aluminum would last better in the elements over a plastic, over time.

I'm.....

I am in the Steeda camp for suspension parts. I love everything they installed, including their billet vertical links. They work great, zero NVH, they look great and perform as advertised. You have my vote:D
I'm sure BMR Suspension parts are great.... But Im also in the Steeda camp for suspension parts, on my 2015 GT Mustang, and they work very well, and they are a Great Products, for the money..... Im very happy with them... Thanks Steeda......

I have both company's products on my 2011, both look as if I installed them yesterday.

The spherical bearings were from QA1 supplied on a different company's control arms. They eventually rusted and developed play causing a clunk. Delrin is immune to corrosion and oxidation, unlike metal. However while delrin is extremely hard for a plastic it does not hold up as well to friction wear as stainless steel.

I think it's safe to say that you'd get at least 50k of hard driving out of either.

The only thing that would make a difference IMO is if you live in an area where the car is exposed to salt for long periods of time. I'm

Keep in mind guys, if long/er term use and durability is a concern, there are boots and seals available by several companies.

I'd pay for the up charge to have boots on both sides of the ball end joint. I know with the ball joints the loading is always in line with the rod.

I use, and recommend "Seals It" for most applications.

http://www.sealsit.com/

Here is an example of some installed on our rod-end components.

These have proven to work very well, and I recommend them quite often.
