I was installing my vertical links and when I was cleaning up after I finished the install, I noticed this piece (attached pictures) laying on the ground. I didn’t hear anything hit the ground while installing the links so I’m not sure if this is from the bmr vertical link, the factory vertical link, or just some random piece that happen to be laying on the ground where I was working at. Just wondering if this is something off of the tca045 vertical link, and if I need to uninstall the link to reinstall this piece. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

That looks like a “circlip”. Maybe it fell out of one of the vertical links? Might want to ask BMR Tech?

I don’t have mine yet. They won’t arrive until next week.
Cheers,

That’s what I’m trying to figure out! Don’t want to take it all apart again if I don’t have too, plus not exactly sure where it would go if I did lol I’ve sent an email to bmr, I’ve messaged there Facebook and instagram page, also private messaged bmrtech with no response! :-/

maybe when you get yours you can see if it has that piece in it! Cars parked for the winter so I have time lol

The spherical bearings should be installed from one direction into the vertical link body and held in with a big inside snap ring. Unless they changed their design along the way, that circlip should not belong to the vertical links.

Edit: Unless it's used to retain the machined inserts that go into/through the spherical bearings.
