Did a 60-130 test this morning Spectre 3.75” velocity stack vs ESS 4” intake with S&B 12” filter. Did 2 runs each, 120mm pulley e85 full weight 74 degrees 2000DA. Spectre stack was little over $20. Link is in the video description.

Spectre 3.75 should work on any 3.75 inlet they also make a 4” version.

Spectre
5.57
5.61

ESS 4”
5.67
5.70

Question. Which did you actually test first?

If you tested the Spectre first, then it may actually be more beneficial than what the numbers say.
Many times, after fluids/oils heat up in the oil pan, tranny, and rear end, I see a .10-15 improvement on Dragy.... from 3-5 minutes prior.

I did a turbo guard a while back vs stock ess intake and it was no difference actually slower but within hundredths so really no difference.

Good data. Be interesting to have added a turbo guard to the mix to see if I findings in the past would match yours.

Spectre was first, but drove 15 mins to the spot , all temps were very close for all runs.

Brad are you running it open all the time or just for this experiment?

There is def gains to be had with the proper inlet. Packaging is a big issue with all brands.
