The more I read and see the more a supercharger does make more sense, if I don't go turbo I would go with the ess supercharger, for the price its hard to beat, there also way lighter than anything else. I have a 10 speed so it would work perfectly with it. The lack of low end is probably a good thing anyway as that should help with traction on the street.
10spd will work perfectly with anything.

…maybe. for the base kit, sure! But once you start talking g3 or g3r, then upgrading impellers and such, the price delta shrinks quickly 😉

Are the hellion 4-1 headers worth it or is the driver side only 11-14 header fine for under 1k hp

Not necessary for under 4 digit power, I got them anyways to combat back pressure and They are nice quality manifolds but you def don’t need them.

honestly any form of boost on a coyote you won’t be disappointed, they all push stupid power even basic stage 1 kits will have no problem pushing over 700whp. So I would just go with a basic head unit on a supercharger kit.

One big thing for me I liked about going Turbo is how much quieter and discrete the car is now. My car was just obnoxiously loud before. I’m older now and that’s not the attention I’m looking for.

I hear good things about the centrifugal ESS kits. Cents have amazing drivability , def hook up better and have a more linear power band. My hellion kit feels way more violent compared to my old procharger set up. Once those turbos “hit” it’s def dramatic and even with ET street R’s I’m clawing for traction. Def have to be more calculated getting into boost. I’m also a manual so car behaves a little differently.

That’s one of the biggest reason I’m wanting to go turbo it being so much quieter than a supercharger. Once you factor in headers on a supercharger the price difference is around 1500 so not a huge difference but definitely there

And once you go wot the hellion isn't quiet. It sounds like all hell breaking loose but in the best possible way. My wastegates drowned out the exhaust once boost hits hard. I love it way more than a loud exhaust.
The exhaust is drowned out by the wastegates but the wastegates is just exhaust... 😆

The new Whipples are not loud at all
Theyre talking about exhaust wise, turbos quieting the exhaust down when not in boost

Do you rebuild your 10R80 transmission once a month or once every six months?
Ford replaced mine after high 9000 miles. It was a bit of a fight. Now 6000 miles later and the transmission is acting up. Until it is opened up. I’m not 100% sure if it is mechanical or electronic, or both.
My engine and transmission are stock!
I am searching for a far better option. Does anyone make enough newly and better designed upgraded parts for this transmission yet, to make it last 200,000 miles? Is everybody just doing a minor upgrade that makes it last 10,000 miles?
Snow is rather rare where im at around the ky/va/tn state area so I can just use my truck for those times. I discovered real quick a cold wet road and I need to drive like a sloth even with good new tires it still spun on me giving it some throttle at 50mph and its stock. However just because it has huge power doesn't mean I have to use it. Its kinda why I bought it over a motorcycle as I can still drive it year round in comfort. Even going slow its still fun to drive around in. I do have a very short drive to work a mere 1.4 miles. At most I might put 10k-12k miles a year on it probably less.
I would just walk to work. I would enjoy the walk and the little bit of exercise I get. rather than put all that wear and tear on my engine and its oil and coolant, etc. what you are doing with your vehicles when driving a few miles is the worst thing you could do to your vehicle.
Then if I got too crippled to walk ride a bicycle.
