Thanks, I know my numbers seem lower than most on here but considering I dynode 329 at the wheels on the same dyno stock, I think it is a gooood jump in power. I am really considering that torque booster kit but I am concerned about increased wind noise from increasing blower speed from a smaller pulley.

at low boost, not really a restriction, high boost can be as much as 150 hp

Is there enough room to put a small filter right on the blower head unit it self? I'm guess the 90 degree bend in to the blower from the intake elbow is contributing factor of restriction? From stock air box to JLT intake is netting around 20-25 whp from what I'm seeing & no JLT intake at all is netting another 27 whp. So is it safe to assume that your looking at 50whp without an intake at all?

I don't have a Paxton yet buddy. I think the inlet is 4 inches but I'm not sure how many inches from the blower to the front shroud is. So the actual size of filter I would purchase is unknown until I can get install & a measurement. But will do an update along with before & after dynos for something like this (if feasible) vs. stock air box.
If all else fails can always purchase the JLT

I'll go check the measurement in a little bit

Is there any benefit in running a centrifugal setup with a velocity stack or no filter? I can't find the answer anywhere. I've seen it on a ton in race setups.

With the crazy crazy amount of testing we have done on inlets for race cars.

I can say this in a nutshell...

The cars that gain the most, have rear facing blowers. (facing the firewall)
Cars with holes in the bumpers don't gain much at all. (but even a fraction matters in heads up racing)

And "real" gains aren't even seen until around 1,000hp and above
The rest is pretty negotiable, other than they look cool. :)

In 99.9% of the cases, just dropping 1 pulley size, will make more of a difference than any bell.

My car will probably go on the dyno on Sunday at a local event. It's a shoot-out, so I don't know how many pulls we get. If it's 2, I'll do the 1st with JLT and the 2nd with open blower then report back.
