I bet you could switch to the TIAL recirc valve and plumb it back into the intake before the SC. It may quiet it some.I hate hearing the open bypass all the time

Man, great information right here, thanks. Does the G2 have self contained oil like the G3, or do you have to tap the oil pan?I might start something by saying this, but if you just want something fun, why not the base g2? Just based on some of the data and slip times that I've seen from this forum, the g2 seems to hang with it pretty well until you get to dedicated racecar builds where you run out of blower. The price difference might make less sense if you want the bigger g3 intercooler.
This was a comparison with the same 105mm pulley and e85 for both the G2 and G3. "Same everything" so this is the difference in only head units and not in bigger G3 head + bigger intercooler. Getting a g2 might be enough for what you want, but if you're sure you'll want more later, the g3+ flows more and makes more power.

> I don't know that a centri is the answer compared to a pd, but if you're just looking at hp/dollar and something fun for the on ramps like you've referred to, I think a g2 might get you there.

It’s self contained. Forgot to mention that some people who have owned both say that the g2 is a bit louder, which they missed after upgrading. I know it’s just blower noise so it’s a subjective part of the fun but if that’s important to you, it’s good to know.Man, great information right here, thanks. I think you just sold me on a G2 with the G3 intercooler. Thanks!!!It’s self contained. Who said Whipples heat soak?Do these centris tend to heat soak like a Whipple or roush?
With the average tuner, more than likely, a cat failure is in the future. So if you take the cats off, no, the stock headers are designed very well on these cars and are capable of supporting much more than 700whp.What's the view on headers, are they a must have with an ESS G3 making 600 - 700 hp on pump fuel?
I’ll tell you why I went G3 vs G2. I wanted the bigger intercooler and that upgrade alone made up the difference in price, essentially.I might start something by saying this, but if you just want something fun, why not the base g2?
