Is there any benefit in running a centrifugal setup with a velocity stack or no filter? I can't find the answer anywhere. I've seen it on a ton in race setups.

Do you have to have a tune for it. I saw Lund tune a car without the intake a few days ago ?less restriction is always more power
i wouldn't run open blower on the street, too much dirt, we pull at the track, but not on the street
Cool!Here's my setup
Hasn't been on a Dyno yet. The Supercharger has a little more "whistle" to it at idle. Haven't had a chance to really get on it yet to see current boost levels. I should be around 8-10psi. I also haven't been to the track yet, I plan on going soon.Cool!
Did you dyno or run it at the track before & after JLT vs. open blower?
Is there any sound difference also, like more spool?
Nice do You daily your car? Do you ever find dirt in your intercooler ?Here's my setup
Mines a DD. And no dirt.... I just started driving with the inlet screen. Going to put the JLT intake back on soon and run the screen at the track. The odds of something getting into the inlet are pretty slim.Nice do You daily your car? Do you ever find dirt in your intercooler ?
Was this because of the cat delete or the open filter? My last dyno run was after adding the cat delete kit. For shits and giggles, the last run I did was without the intake assembly. I went from 577 to 604 on hp. without the filter setup.
I would imagine that the cat delete attributed to the higher numbers. Was this because of the cat delete or the open filter?
The 577 was cat delete with filter and 604 without. Was this because of the cat delete or the open filter?
