Can you put a Y in the pickup and tack the ends down to the middle/center of their respective sides?

I think that would be the worst of both worlds. Its easier to suck air than fuel, so it would starve in both left /and/ right handers

Messing around with free smartphone 3D scanners while I toy with the idea of boxing my radiator.

Pretty hard to do an interior space like this (between the radiator and grill). Not much room to work with. Splitter was hard just because its big and while on jackstands I also couldn't quite get far enough away to get the coverage I needed for something so large.

Pretty neat tho.

I’ve had those recommended by some, and I’ve also heard they wont do enough by others (and may be hard to get into position in the tank) so cant tell for sure if the hydramats are worthwhile in out cars.

The only people who I’ve hear first hand reports of both 1) having this fuel starve problem at high tank levels and 2) fixing it for good seem to have done the surge tank. Lots of advise from people who did a thing but didn’t have this problem or had the problem but never fixed it.

Or you get a cell and put a low pressure lift pump in every corner filling a tower where the high pressure pump(s) draw. That's the real answer. It'll work, but that's probably not the only answer and certainly not the easiest.

I've played with KIRI Engine before, but with an Android we don't have as many options. What software are you using here?

That was the creatively titled "3D Scanner App" on iOS. I can pull things into Blender, but I need to brush up on that modelling tool before I'm going to be very effective with it. I messed around with designing some fender vents this weekend but didn't get very far.

Very creative name there, but it's honest with what it does. I have a buddy with a high end scanner and want to have him get some scans of sections of the car. I mostly use the personal version of Fusion360 for my modeling. I opened Blender once and had no idea where to begin. Fusion 360 at least feels like when I first started 3d modeling back 20 years ago before I took 20 years off.

Maybe I should try Fusion360 then. IDK, I could use more experience with both. I work in 3D engines all day long, but the other guys do the modelling. I even created a project for simulating speeds through autox course layouts.

Next problem is a 3D scanner big enough to do car body parts.

An old buddy of mine has a speed shop that's been very successful and they're now making a number of parts. He's offered to let me scan some stuff in the past. May have to take him up on that.

Certainly looked slick. Will be curious how you like the Steeda DSC. After all the messing with mine, I am finally at a point where the car, with my spring setup, does exactly what I want (once the tires heat up) predictably, and undramatically.

I already have my pre-judgement opinion on most Steeda stuff. With something like the DSC, I just don't see how their canned tunes get the car to the level that it can be dialed to a specific driver. And then to lock a guy out completely from making tweaks, I mean that's like buying MCS's with the adjustment knobs locked in place.

I will be interested to see myself. If I wasn't on their specific spring/swaybar combo that their controller was adjusted for I would have probably purchased direct. For anyone on the AJ adjustable setup or similar I would agree that you certainly have more freedom to dial it in. Having spoken with a very competitive local Porsche owner who has a DSC unit on his Cayman GT4, he mentioned that it took him the better part of the season to dial in his DSC and he was slower with it initially over stock until he found his way.

I've never claimed to be the best at suspension tuning when it comes to just a single knob adjustable damper setup, much less something as complex and varied as the DSC unit.

Yeah, and DSC's tech support is less than stellar. A friend won XS in Lincoln this year, and has a DSC on his 911. The DSC failed just prior to the event, he was able to get it working again, and then it failed after the event, and still doesn't work, at least last time we talked.

If DSC isn't going to help a national champ, can't hold out hope they will help drivers-in-training such as myself. So maybe in that sense, Steeda has a bit more sway and can get stuff addressed faster/better.
