It’s interesting that left-right transitions are discussed. For me, the biggest pain of soft springs is the time spent to transfer weight backwards again after braking. Luckily with yokos, nothing really matters if you keep buying tires.
I got the 350 lb springs installed last weekend. It's been raining non-stop for 9 days now, and I haven't had the car out yet.

I've been chatting with AJ a bit more because my ride height turned out a bit different than his. During that discussion, and I think in one of his video's, he said he thinks all the Mustang front struts have the same lower perch, and that his kit should fit on any Mustang. If that is the case, you could always pick up a kit and throw on 350 or 400 lb springs. It's incredibly easy to install, I was done in 3 hours. And it took that long because I wanted to make sure I didn't F anything up along the way, which I am prone to do.

Unrelated, I've had a clunk in the front drivers side ever since installing the Vorshlag camber plates and FP springs. It was always minor, so I never really worried about it. When taking everything apart, I discovered the caster plate screws on the drivers side were all loose. Now they are lock-tited, and the clunk is gone. Who would have thought it.

Yeah buddy! What springs did you end up with? Did you do the rear springs/adjustable set up as well?
I got 375 in/lb (don't ask how I picked this number). I got Steeda kit for the rear with 1000 in/lb to start with - also have the softer Steeda bar "competition" one I've had in the basement for a while that might be useful in making this work.

For reference I'm currently on Magride Ford Performance Handling Kit - 5300-W springs (which are progressive and relatively soft) and their bars (front one is pretty massive - don't remember the diameter but I think is as thick as Steeda "Big Bar").

Steeda Adjustable Rear Ride Height thing - 5300W Ford Performance Springs weighed 13.5 lb (using Park Tool bike scale so fairly accurate), two spring mounts, all the hardware and Hyperco spring - 6.5 lb - that 7lb saving per side. Their weight savings claim are pretty legit. Stock spring is probably heavier than 5300W.

Also they have this thing on sale currently.

6 inches.

6 x 2.5 x 1000 are the ones I have. May change the rate in the future.
How did you arrive at 1000 for the rears? With the way Ford evolved on its rates from 2016, when the GT350 was at 914, to the M1 HP (sub 800) and GT500 (sub 900), I'd think going slightly softer would be the way to go. Unless there are wings involved?

You're asking questions I can't answer ;).

Had to pick something , they're super easy to change (I forgot what pain in the ass unbolting subframe is) and I do have a wing.

Mike Maier, who made the the rear spring mount kit, likes running a really stout rear spring. He argues for a minimum of 1000 #/in. When he was running, he was around 13-1500 #/in. Having said that, he was also 7-800#/in on the front if memory serves, so he was running the car stiff as a whole. I can't argue with his performance, and he must have had the car balanced, but I don't think most of us want to run at that overall stiffness level.

I'm not going to pretend I know what I am doing... I have a local next weekend that I'll treat as T&T and then Charlotte a week after - then some real local T&T where I should have time to play with different springs / bar settings. I'm likely going to order some softer ones after next weekend's event.

Steeda Magride Dual-Rate rear springs are 800-1200 lbs/in so I picked in the middle of that range.
I also installed Steeda soft bar - nice thing about is that it comes with brackets that move it back a little.

Btw - if someone wants a set of those Steeda Magride springs (unused), I can sell them at half price (let's say $200) for anyone that's running CAM-C anywhere in the country.

It'll be cool to hear what you learn. If you're feeling frisky, ride height is a very powerful tuning tool.
