Still trying to feel out the dog before you provide feedback on it?
There's some first impressions in that post. :)

Lol definitely should’ve checked the auto correct but glad you knew I meant diff. Yea just wondering if there was any more feedback on the difference between the OSG and Torsen. I’ll be patient lol

Autocrorrect takes all the fun out of it.

So its kinda early, and I don't get to A/B test the Torsen T2R and OS Giken back to back, so these are all first impressions as I learn and adapt to its 'style'.

The OSG (tuned by Lugod) feels like it induces a little understeer mid corner, but its hard to say. its close to balanced, and its been many months since I drove it at the limit. I added some rear shock and I'll keep playing with suspension settings to get the rotation I want.

Corner exit or under power accelerating in a sweeper its predictable and definitely fast. It feels like its driving both wheels and not just the outside tire. No complaints there, its good. Hard to say exactly how much or if its better or not than the torsen though.

Fishtailing through the finish feels nothing like the Torsen did. Its not just an easy slippery slide which the torsen was. it feels like grabs one direction and tries to carve you and then grabs the other direction and carves back. Almost took me off guard. Powerslides were ok in other places.

Most controlled switchbacks and slaloms were fast and fine, no problems.

So no regrets so far, and I was a little worried. The T2R is quick, no doubt its a capable diff. I may have been leaving a little bit of acceleration on the table with the OSG, as I never overdid it and lost the rear on exit (that I can remember). That site is kind of slippery asphalt. Not as grippy as concrete FWIW.

Trying to convince the wife to greenlight a MSC dual adjustment setup with remote reservoirs. May be listing my current setup to underwriter part of the upgrade costs.
Vorahlag has a like new rebuilt set for sale, I want to say around $1000 off new.

Two steps forward, one step back.

so, 2nd autocross was a misfire. Literally. I suspected I had some mid-high rpm misfires at the first event of 2025 but one run into the second event and it was misfiring so much I pulled out after 1 run. I got datalogs of the first event. Plugs were 38k miles and at 0.059” gap on average, I swapped the plugs out and it drives ok when you arent feathering the throttle at 7500k, but its not broken and pulls above 3k like it should. I guess I’ll do a test cruising at autocross RPM in a couple days to see if the tune is ok up high there.

Oh and I got a set of these, assuming I can get the motor happy enough to try a ProSolo..

Yeah those plugs are definitely in bad shape, wow! I was getting a odd miss at idle, and chalked it up to plug issues on 7/8. I went a step colder on the plug, it seems to have helped.

Interested to hear your feedback on the vitours. I read somewhere they were slightly more heat tolerant than yoks. Personally I'm jumping from the re71 to a 325 CRS. I'm aiming for a 1.40 at MSR, and hopefully some better luck at the Pro.

We are co driving my car this year, so should get some fun data at the Pro.

Otis was running CRS on his ZL1 1LE locally and seemed to like them. Definitely a good choice if you need them to take some heat.

Are you squeezing those onto a 19x11 or stepping up to a 19x12 for those?

11.5" Wheel.
Hmmm, would be tempted to buy another set of Project 6GR rears to run up front and have a set of 4 19x11.5" wheels. Would have to check some offset data to see if that's feasible given how aggressively concave they are.

Jump to the 19x12", save yourself the hassle of wishing you had gone that route in the first place. Couple of things to relocate, and extended studs, but nothing major.

True, but sneaking 2 wheels past the in house accountant is much easier than sneaking 4 past her. LOL.

Do you have them mounted already ? Would you mind measuring diameter once mounted ?
Someone said they're 25" which is hella short compared to typical 25.5-25.6".

Not mounted and it might be a while. I maybhold these for Nats and run something else in the meantime. Still deciding.
