Running the Steeda X pipe resonator delete here and love it. Added maybe 15% volume across the board but “quiet” mode is still really quiet, which is exactly what I wanted. Ditches nearly 10 lbs of dead weight out of the car too as the factory resonator is pretty heavy.

What are the benefits of deleting it?
Why are you looking to delete the resonator if you don't know why it's usually deleted? Why do you want to delete it?

If you want to sound lean and mean, stay factory. If you want to sound loud and proud, add an X or H pipe, but if you really want your car to scream, add LTHs to the mix. Either way, there’s nothing wrong with any of those options, as we all like what we like.

I will say that ever since my cats blew out, and I installed race mufflers in their place, along with my existing LTHs and a Steeda X, the sound is even louder.

Don't buy if you don't want it loud. It's a significant increase in volume. Quiet is still fairly quiet, but every other mode is massively louder than stock.
The H or X pipe doesn’t really change the volume that much…..for that, you would need to replace the mufflers.

I'm looking to delete the resonator. What x pipe is recommended and why? 22 GT PREMIUM A10 Active exhaust. I'm not trying to make it louder, or quieter. Will this affect the warranty? Definitely don't want to use clamps.
I have the "Steeda H Pipe" 👌 highly recommend it. Flows and sounds better.

I keep seeing this re: resonator deletes. It doesn't chagne the volume much, and seems to add a rattly, marbles in a can tone at high RPM. I just don't see why it's such a popular mod. Because it's cheap? I will say that exhausts have gotten ridiculously expensive especially from the big names like Borla and Corsa.

Is that yours, or a generic photo ?

The facelift / newer Steeda pipes are a little shorter so you don’t have to cut the OE system through the heat shields that arrived with the facelift.

The Steeda pipe in that photo could be shortened to give the same fitment :like:

With active exhaust it’s a drastic increase in volume in sport and track modes.
I had the H pipe on my 21 Mach 1 and it was a little louder, but nothing drastic……

The prices for a full system is extremely expensive, Then it’s thru the roof if you want to add some Kooks headers. I always get rid of the resonator so the exhaust has better flow and is less restrictive…..and of course……it’s a weight savings.

I fitted a Steeda H Pipe to my 2019 right hand drive Bullitt Mustang with AE and was told by the installer that the engine would breathe much better and that I would pick up between 3-5 HP. The exhaust sound is louder in all modes, and gives you a pure V8 sound in all modes, particularly RACE TRACK Mode. To say the least I am very happy with the exhaust sound, and I am sure you will also.

I took that photo while doing the install.

Don’t sweat the pipe lengths, I had the x pipe backwards when I mocked it up so I didn’t cut enough off the tailpipes. I cut a few more inches off and was good to go. 👍
