I almost bought a Steeda X when they had their Black Friday sale. Same reason, just to try it out even though I know exactly how it sounds LOL

X pipe is slightly higher pitched and raspier, and an h pipe is a deeper rumble.

5.0L typically sounds better on an h-pipe.

I agree I had x pipe at first and it sounded like a import high pitch H pipe low sounds better imop.

I've had both. X pipe on my 2015 GT and H pipe on my 2018 GT and 2021 Mach1. The X pipe sounds like a nascar when you put your foot it it. Loved it. The H pipe sounds more "adult" until you put your foot in it and it starts screaming!!!

I'm thinking about getting the resonator delete, currently have the kooks muffler. If I want it to be louder should I go with x pipe or h pipe?

Either one will be louder but the XPipe I believe will be the louder of the two. I'm running XPipe resonator delete with Roush axle backs and you can hear me coming.

The Roush AB’s might have something to do with that too LOL. They are loud even with the stock resonator.

I bought my XPipe thru CJ Pony parts. Had my local CarX install it. I switch it out once in a while. The XPipe I bought is stainless.

Steeda is 304 stainless, a lot of people use the Steeda X or H, myself included

The only real difference in the brands as far as x and h pipes go is the material they are made from. Double x or double h is different. I went with the cheapest that I could find(pypes).
