With the active exhaust, track mode is loud enough, never had a good experience with exhaust clamps. Want to keep it classy, obnoxiously loud is definitely not. Plus loud does not equal fast.
Don't buy if you don't want it loud. It's a significant increase in volume. Quiet is still fairly quiet, but every other mode is massively louder than stock.

Its just a noise maker, performance benefits exist but they are so small its not really valid to even call its a performance mod.

If you're the type to be apprehensive when driving a car that is significantly louder than most others on the road I wouldn't recommend an X-pipe. It will attract attention, and it is much louder in every mode. Anyone saying an x-pipe is not loud is desensitized to what a loud exhaust is, an x-pipe with an active exhaust is very loud.

@Mikestang20 The only thing Ill mention is to make sure your pipes are not cut too long or you will risk a short on your exhaust harness on the back. I would even go a little shorter for comfort (assuming you have active exhaust).

This is the way. My shop took an extra 1/4-1/2” off. Just enough slack there now where it won’t get pinched or rub and short out

Good find on your end!

It should be included in the kit. If quality is one of their main priorities, then these higher quality clamps should be included. It's a great selling point as well.
Not in todays world that most buy on price point and who is offering a discount or coupon.

I did a Steeda X on my 22 Mach 1. I think it’s perfect for me… also an unexpected tidbit was that Quiet Mode is actually quieter with the X pipe installed. The other modes rip at rpm but in the neighborhood the X is better for the cold start at 6 am..

I'm looking to delete the resonator. What x pipe is recommended and why? 22 GT PREMIUM A10 Active exhaust. I'm not trying to make it louder, or quieter. Will this affect the warranty? Definitely don't want to use clamps.
It's going to make it significantly louder. I bought mine in 2019 from American Muscle for $125. I kept the resonator section and swap back when I get tired of the race car sound. I'm running Roush Axle backs.

Don’t do it. It is easier to make these cars sound horrible than it is to make them sound good. I would look into an H-pipe before the X.

it will be at least twice as loud without the resonator.
