And when Chad McQueen says quote " it's fucking awesome " , you can bet your ass it's " fucking awesome " . And if the dealership here didn't put such a stupid high markup on it , it'd be mine . Then again , it may still be .
Our team builds and sells direct - please let me know if I can put you in contact with our vehicle team.

Have a great night.

And think about with these cars will be worth five years or 10 years from now.
What do you think?
Will the mods keep their value?
I’m toying with the idea of paying the shop Steeda recently licensed in Windsor to add the mods to my car but frankly, it’s way more performance than I need and I think the stock Bullitt will depreciate less.
On the other hand the SMQ Editions are truly rare, unlike the stock Bullitt, and offer top shelf Shelby performance for much less money than a GT500, which is still selling for way over MSRP around here, if you can find one at all.
If only they threw in a Tremec….

I will have to admit the price is super super steep. You can do everything they’re doing for much cheaper if you know somebody who will give you a great price on labor. But getting the authenticity number with it will be worth something possibly down the road. I guess my big question would be if this were rolling through a Barrett-Jackson auction and they called it a Steeda Bullitt would anybody care.

I believe that all of the last American V8 manuals will keep their value much better than other cars in the future because they are dead cars walking.
Some will even appreciate.
But which ones?
GT350Rs are a good bet. What else?

Problem there is that I'm in Canada. Unless I can get a deal I absolutely cannot refuse ✌

Usually used cars start to increase in value when people that were very young when they were new dreamed about them and can now afford to buy them
Do any kids right now have wet dreams about Mustang or any other. Cars for that matter?
I seriously doubt it, kids now are not really into cars, as a matter of facts a lot of them don’t even get a driver license

@tj@steeda

How come Steeda won't release how many McQueen conversions were sold? I've asked a few times in different threads but it's like top secret or something. Did they meet the 300 production proposal or didn't come close?

Not trying to be condescending, as I'm a Steeda fan and supporter of many years during the Fox Mustang/Corral.net era and bought many Steeda parts... So I'm merely asking just so we can get an idea of how many actually built.

As supercharging is an option, the tune is plenty powerful and makes the car cheaper.

Let me make the economics question more concrete because I’m interested in the thoughtful opinions of other members of the forum.
Ignoring tax, I paid about $51,000 Canadian for my Bullitt last year.
Because of Covid, I could probably get $61k for my 2020 Bullitt tomorrow even though I’ve put 5,00 miles/10,000 kms on it already.
That will likely go down a lot when the used car shortage goes away but I think my Bullitt will do better than a GT in the future (for example, but note I don’t mean to pick on GTs, as a I acknowledge the Bullitt is essentially a generously optioned GT), whatever happens.
So, will I get $40k Canadian back in, say, five or ten years if I transform my Bullitt into a SMQ Edition at that price?
I think the economic calculations suggest keeping my car stock.
What do you think?

I’ve already made a profit on a an automatic (I.e. not a manual, on which I would have made a 10 k profit) high performance V8 American car built less than ten tears ago, sold pre-covid (so I could buy the Bullitt, as it happens), so, frankly, you’re wrong.
There are near term collectible cars that you can buy today for less than $100 k American, $130 Canadian that are pretty much guaranteed to appreciate in value.
The 350 GTR is one of them, I think.
Curious what folks think the others might be.
