Is it possible to cross reference that plate number to the frame number ?

Givern all the other shenanigans, until proven otherwise Iā€™m not sure I would even trust that plate as being genuine ā€¦ :frown:

No, the K (for 2019 MY) and L (for 2020 MY) numbers do not correspond to VIN. That was one thing that Ford stated when they released the trim/model.

Is it possible someone at the salvage company swiped the parts for there own car or to sell separately. and just swapped regular gt parts on it to send it on down the line. I would think if someone stole the car for parts why would they just take only mostly Bullitt specific parts and not strip the whole car. dont seem like it be worth the effort to steal a car for so few parts.

Well, the digital cluster itself sells for over $1k, so if it was easy to pull out and swap for a cheaper one, probably would've been worth the person's time...

Okay NM I was wrong. It's $2k!!

So my question is, do you love the car for who it was when it was born, or how it presents itself to the world now? It isn't the car's fault it doesn't look like all the other Bullitts, right?

Itā€™s got different wheels this time! I wonder if this is actually a GT that someone tried to clone. Like the ecoboost one? The Ecoboost guy even has a dash plate. Maybe the dealer really doesnā€™t know itā€™s not a Bullit

The dealer has a link to the sticker. Did that appear in this thread before?

There is a Carfax link, too.

I loved this thread last year, it was entertaining!

The Carfax link doesnā€™t seem to work. But I donā€™t trust Carfax after they hosed me on one of my previous mustangs, I bought it with a clean Carfax and magically a couple months later an accident from a previous owner showed up!

And why the hell would any Bullitt owner replace the shift knob with a stock GT knob? Iā€™m sure that was mentioned somewhere in these 6 pages but that in particular cracks me up.

Looking at the picture, I donā€™t know if it was caught last year, but the front brakes are the regular GT brakes, the rear are the red Bullit calipers.
