Nope. And no one said anything "What's in the owners manual is not all maintenance items a vehicle needs until the end of time". That's you strawman arguing, if you know what that means.

There's normal consumables (tires, brakes, wiper blades), maintenance (fluids, filters, etc.), and everything else is repairs.

Replace shocks? Repairs.
Replace clutch kit? Repairs.
Replace LCAs? Repairs.
Light Bulbs? Repairs.

Everything else is repairs.
Dude, there is no strawman, you literally said " Maintenance is a page or two in the Owner's Manual "...you said that. not me.

I can see there's no helping you here.

Yes they are. Between 70 and 100K miles.

None except maintenance.

Shocks and struts last generally 50K, they are not usually listed as maintenance item, but they sure are.
incorrect. cleaning a MAF is maintenance. replacing it is a repair. replacing a sensor, any sensor, is a repair.

Then you don't understand what you're doing. Don't understand strawman arguing.

Saying "Maintenance is a page or two in the Owner's Manual", is completely different from saying "What's in the owners manual is not all maintenance items a vehicle needs until the end of time."

Those are two VERY different statements, with completely different meanings. It was your attempt at changing what the topic was, to support your position. That's bush-league, juvenile crap.

Look.....either stop strawman arguing, or stop trying to debate the topic until you can do it like an adult.

Depends if it is broken or not.

It is maintenance if you replace it before it stops working.

Steering rack was just replaced on my '20 with 25k miles. Rear caliper parking break is goofing up and needs replaced.

Doesn't sound like much for 3.5 year old car but that steering rack was crazy expensive and in the shop for a month to figure out. It's been a bit of a headache!

I'm just sad nobody liked my Al Bundy reference a page or two ago.
I liked it but it had to roll over 10 times to log one million miles.

I had one of those, 340 4 speed 3.91 rear gears.

It did need repairs. I broke lots of stuff beating up on Chevies and Fords.

guy says he has 1 million miles and car is all original but he replaces the engine every 100K just to be safe is it all original?

no. he's a lying fraud.

same principle applies to your MAF.

hey no one laughed at my Muddy Waters Restaurant either... Maybe we re not that funny?
this is serious internet business, sir. someone is wrong and we must prove it and shame them into acquiescence :D

I love my Mustang it is basically the best cat I ever owned.
It has gremlins tat annoy me. It started with the outer tribar brake / turn not working
Now the trunk will not open with the fob or dash button, What next?
Are gremlins a maintenance or a repair ???
Now that s funny!!

Now where did I claim any of my vehicles are or were all original?

What is your point? 4 year old cars need tires and brakes too.
they need suspension as well. I really don't understand the mentality of people who put 15k miles/yr on a set of dampers and think they don't need to be ripped and replaced every 50k at the most. 30-40k really should be the limit.

Never mind. Looks like it is 10 dollars cheaper to buy new through Steeda than get them rebuilt.
