I love my Mustang it is basically the best cat I ever owned.
It has gremlins tat annoy me. It started with the outer tribar brake / turn not working
Now the trunk will not open with the fob or dash button, What next?

What's your expectation with an 8-9 year old car?

That everything still works.
Seriously, I don't get it when people say shit like, "What do you expect? It's "X" number of years old." I expect things to continue to work. If they don't I expect the fix to be easy and cheap.

Nice fantasy world!!!!! 😂

I'm guessing you two haven't owned many cars past warranty expiration.

They wear out. Things break/fail/stop working.

Maintenance and repairs are part of the cost of ownership. If you're going to cry about it, then you can't afford the car. And "easy and cheap" ain't got nothing to do with it.

I had 20 year old cars where everything still works. Yes some maintenance was required.

You must have horseshit luck.

There's a difference between having a 20 year old car, and daily driving a car for 20 years. Daily drive something for 20 years, and you'll do a LOT of maintenance and repairs. TONS of it.

Some garage queen that's barely driven doesn't apply to this discussion.

Who said anything about garage queens?

I drove my 1976 Dodge P/U until 2002 when I bought a F150. Both were daily driven. I drove the 2002 F150 until 2014 when I bought a 2012 F150.

On each of these everything worked even when I sold them.

And on both of those vehicles you spent thousands of dollars maintaining and repairing them. Replaced tons of parts from brakes and batteries to lights, tires, suspension, etc.

So....you're making no point here. Just denying your own reality.
