In your logs, was that your coolant temp or cylinder head temp? I know in my data logs it does not record cylinder head temp (I thought it was CHT in the logs but it's not a selectable data point with what I use for whatever reason). My coolant gets around 210, but my CHT definitely gets up to...
This sucks, sorry to hear =/. Hopefully you'll have it back up better than ever soon.
I've never heard of this being a problem so now I'm a little concerned for my own too. Are there other things that help mitigate this? I saw someone mention the oil balancing lines.
I haven't commented on it yet, but I do absolutely love the Kumho Ecsta V730 tires. Significantly more grip and still very communicative. Still learning to use all the grip.
That said, with the new grip levels...I finally hit the threshold where oil can get sloshed up into the driver side PCV...
1st ever track day?
I assume you'll have an instructor hopefully as well? Don't over think it.
1. Your tires will be fine. PS4S are perfectly capable. Are they fast? No. Does it matter? No. Especially novice and your first day. Having a lower grip tire that's communicative will be better for...
Define "can be street-driven".
How much brake squeal and dust do you want to deal with?
The stock PP compound pads are pretty decent dual purpose already...the hawk 5.0 are decent too, at least for less aggressive setups. I wouldn't bother with either in higher skill groups or with stickier...
As long as your toe is in spec/zeroed, I'm very confident you will see no adverse tire wear from that camber change. And hopefully you mean -1.5 degrees of camber.
If you're using stock bolts, lowering the subframe may not be necessary. There's a chance the rear diff bolts may rub or get stuck at the tire well when taking them out...but I don't remember if that was with the stock bolts or the upgrades. It was definitely easier lowering the subframe though...
Differential and Driveshaft Swap
Plus fresh axle seals, race bearings and fixing a cracked diff bushing!
Completed this end of February of 2023, but thought I'd share as it was a fairly involved project. I’m a bit behind on a few things.

You must not be familiar with Ford lug nuts =). I'm pretty sure they are still a 2 piece design through all the model years.

I don't remember how tall stock is, but here's a pic of the MGW low profile vs flat stick handles. I don't think the flat stick is much shorter than stock...but there is still a throw reduction. Maybe someone has those exact numbers somewhere.
I believe others have already answered this but a 10/11 setup will induce more understeer. For balanced (and tire longevity), go 10" square. We have a heavier front end, needs just as much meat as the rear.
And starting at a base...feel free to look at my build thread (I really need to update...
I always recommend a square setup. I run 305/30/19 on 11" wheels on track and I'm still more likely to understeer. Plus you can still rotate tires.
11" square takes a bit of work to make fit right...for street I'd recommend 10" wheels and run 285/35/19 (or 275/40/19).
As mags1 said...lighter...
I don't have a GT350 but...I can tell you it's going to be hard to find a brake pad that will be acceptable for both track and street (depending on what group you're running in). The stock pads are probably a decent compromise. But with more experience/the faster you run, you're going to...
Glad you're enjoying the Kumhos...I finally got a chance this weekend to really see what I can do on them and thought they were great as well. Hopefully they'll last a bit too.
If I may ask, what happened the last 2 sessions?
Nice, love the new shop btw! ...although I wish you guys didn't move farther away from me ;(. Been to you guys for headers and dyno tune previously at your old place.
