My baby sitting beside a beautiful EcoBoost! Hunger got the best of me after work, so I decided to drive to Stevie B's and sure enough I saw a 2015 sitting in the parking lot all the way out from the pizzeria and I just had to park beside it! I even parked the same way as he/she did and took up two parking spaces! :ford:

I would think twice before parking like that my friend. This angers many people when they see someone parked like that, and it gives them all the reason they need (in their minds) to mess with your car.

I just don't get why some people think they are entitled to two spaces. If you are that concerned or paranoid, leave it at home.

I'd still only take one space in an empty lot. Parking like a douche seems to invite unsavory people to mess with your car. At least that's what I've seen. YMMV.

I double parked the first day I brought my mustang to work and my coworkers had a good laugh about it lol

Really? We have a pic of two Mustangs parked together and most the comments are about the parking spots! Maybe she had a small trailer attached when she parked and it has been stolen!! Call the Police!
CO really comes out different in pics doesn't it? I only decided on it when I saw it in the flesh.

I always park at the end of the lot.....helps get some of the 30 min per day walk in too.

But I will usually find a spot with curbing on one side and get very close to that. If someone does park next to me, they almost have to hit me intentionally. Occasionally I will grab two spots, but it is rare.

If it is a crowded lot, I try to park next to the nicest looking car I can find. In this college town, UGA, there are lots of high-end cars due to all the high-paid sports people. There are some 'ghinis, jags, Bentleys....... they park the same way. If I see them, I get next to them....I know they won't be a problem.

It's pretty clear this lot wasn't having a capacity issue...so who cares if they took two spots in the back?
Personally, I couldn't care less about it, but I know that many get very upset when they see it. As I said previously, In their minds, it is like they see a sign on the car that says, "come and F**k with my car".
Most of us don't live in Mayberry, and the cities are full of nutcases just looking for a reason to be pissed off on a daily basis. And seeing a nice car parked like this gives them just the motivation they need.
That's all I am saying. Personally though, I would never park that way simply because it draws more attention to my car than if I just parked it properly. If someone believes that their vehicle is safer from dings by parking like that, Then go for it, But I don't think it does make your car safer. I think it makes it much more likely to have something happen to it.

Ok, yes. I am pretty sure that is what happened. They both had trailers that got stolen. That explains it. Thank you. Good one.....

I went to watch Mad Max last week in Amarillo. I parked away from people. On the way out, I noticed a 370Z owner inspecting my car. Then I realized there were other Mustangs around me.
