... like I do, then you may have thought about painting your original equipment wheels.

So, I decided to do that, and I bought some plasti dip paint so that I could prototype it. They don't offer a silver, so I bought grey and then I added some actual silver "mag wheel" paint on top of that. I carefully covered the barrel of the wheel to avoid overspray (thinking that it would be difficult to remove) although I got a fair amount on the tire, I was able to clean it off.

Natch I followed instructions and still that plasti dip is not so easy to remove. I ended up using my pressure washer.

Attached below are the results. I tried to take a few good pictures, but only got these three that were decent. I'm curious to hear what others think. Black wheel haters only please. I know what you black wheel lovers will say. LOL

I like both black and non black wheels depending on what they are on (color, accents, etc). Honestly to me that looks like a plain jane wheel. I think chrome or mag wheels would look good on your car

They brighten up your car. Chrome might be better still.
On my Race Red convertible they would look like crap.
I don't like or hate any particular wheel color. I've currently got one with wheels painted silver, one with chrome and the Mustang with the black with silver trim like yours. I'm planning on trading the silver lug nuts for black as soon as I get the time to make the swap.

I like it. Add some chrome around the windows, think Bullit, to tie it together.

honestly., id leave the windows black and toss some nice chrome wheels up on it. You have a dark color and it would be gorgeous imo. or powder coat them bad boys that powder chrome, ive seen a few in real life and its seriously getting impressive on chrome finish powders.

I don't "hate" black wheels, but my lightning blue coupe has the same wheels and I like them on my car. The same black rims would have looked off on my 2008 dark candy apple red convertible.

I have those exact OEM wheels on my ingot silver GT. Not crazy about them at all, but I think they do look better in silver on yours.

I really like those wheels on my white car because the black offers contrast that's somewhat subdued by the machined face. With that said, your silver looks pretty good, actually.

I wouldnt call that the same car because different accents such as louvers can change the whole car
