I had similar issues at the CHIN event at Road Atlanta when we met shifting 4-5 on the back straight. It was shortly after installing the shifter. It will take some practice to be firm enough on those shifts (I'm better but still imperfect). I also find that I need to be sure not to rush that shift. I think some folks have mentioned overly strong centering and a potential modification to address - perhaps on a fast shift to 5 the strong centering action results in not getting the shifter far enough right.I will say that I had 2 occasions when I failed to engage 5th on a 4-5 upshift. It didnāt grind or pop out. It just didnāt go in. Iām thinking my hand was just a little too light on those shifts.

Yes, calling them is a great option. Is the install for the gen 2 the same as the gen 1? This video is very helpful, just wondering if it can also be used for the gen 2:
Also, I do not see them on their website. How do I order? Call them?
Nice update @MGW
If you ever develop a sequential shifter, I'll be your first tester. I've been begging another company for two years without much luck :(
I installed the Gen 1 myself. The video is quite good, but my experience is here.Any of you all do it yourselves? If so, how long did it take? Any additional tips/tricks not shown in MGW's installation video?
It took a solid afternoon, 4-5 hours.Thank you! About how long did it take you?
I saw that you only lifted the front end - was that adequate orlooking back would it have been easier if you had lifted the entire car?It took a solid afternoon, 4-5 hours.
