Hello - does anybody know any sites that stock the MGW short throw shifter? Have been looking all over for one and can't find a place that has it. Have a few parts coming in over the next few weeks so would like to watch the right places for a chance of getting one in the meantime. I also can't find any trace of the one made for the 350 on MGWs website.

I would suggest to just e-mail MGW - [email protected]

From what I understand, MGW is developing an updated version of the shifter for the GT350. Once the Mach 1 was released (with the same transmission), MGW started developing a shifter for that. Since I would imagine they are pretty similar, I believe they were trying to develop one shifter that would be applicable to both the GT350's and Mach 1's...as was as incorporating any upgrades they had come up with. Consequently, I believe they stopped production of the current GT350 design until this new version comes out.

DISCLAIMER: I have not spoken with George at MGW and what I just relayed was information I gathered from the internet in different car forums (including this one). Just passing that along.

Spot on. MGW support emailed me back and said what you mentioned above.

I like to disassemble things.
Spot on indeed. George continues to test and so far everything looks good.
