I saw that you only lifted the front end - was that adequate orlooking back would it have been easier if you had lifted the entire car?

The rear was lifted as well, just on shorter jack stands. It sufficed. More space is generally better but it worked fine to get me underneath on a creeper and do what I needed. The work to be done is at the transmission, space farther back isn't really necessary.
