If you get a chance, could you post a pic of where your battery tender
connections are terminated? I'm guessing you have them secured to
the cowl somehow. Thx.
If I'm not mistaken, the only difference to the '20 350R steering , was new steering
knuckles, similar to, but different parts than the GT500 steering knuckles.
If my memory is correct Epiphany bought both a 350R and GT500 steering
knuckle and posted the comparison photos here on the forum...
I'm calling it a day. AZ has not offered more than 91 at the pump for a really long
time, unless the station is selling racing gas, or E10 100 octane, which I've bought
myself at the pump.
There are an infinite number of ways for a "driver" or more accurately a "steering
wheel holder" to mess...
I wasn't trying to give you a hard time. I load all my fuel in Tucson, AZ.
If you find out something different from what I stated, I'd be very interested
to hear that.
The other thing you could do, if you see someone unloading their tank
truck at a station, stop and ask the driver how the...
You're giving out total misinformation. I've been a fuel hauler for 36 years,
still doing this. The actual way 87-91, or 93 in states that offer it, is this:
Loading a compartment with 2000 gallons of E10 87, you program 2000 for
the compartment, the loading rack pumps 200 gallons of ethanol...
I agree with you completely, that high speeds on multi lane limited access roads with
little to no traffic is not reckless.
I blame Rudy Stanko who took his speeding ticket all the way to the Montana
Supreme Court for the current numerical speed limits in Montana. If interested, take a look at...
Not enough down force? What about this?
The driver, Brian Smith (FPRS) hit the rev limiter. He said "If we had a shorter 6th gear
we could have kept going."
If a stock 2013/2014 GT500 can do 202 mph, I'm guessing that the '20-'22 GT500
can easily go faster, minus the speed limiter. Gearing is totally different on these
two cars. Ford wanted long legs on the '13/'14. If you watch the Christmas Tree 192
mph run, Spencer was about 7500 rpm @ 192 mph...
I agree with you. I've been waiting since day one for someone to take the limiter
off and determine terminal velocity. Probably a non CFTP car would be slightly
faster. That big wing on the back is not going to help top speed.
An example is: I actually knew someone crazy enough to take a...
He was asking why a bone stock GT500 couldn't do 200 mph. IMO, it probably could,
minus the limiter, so I agree with you. We're dealing with Hennessey and he knows
what hype is. The only thing I like about Hennessey is his 1/4 drag strip, which when
run the reverse direction makes a short but...
