Have you actually read my posts? You will see I was giving him the information - which isn't all that complicated - and he got all butt-hurt at the word 'backwards' (and the fact I liked some jack stands).

...and I am the one who is out of line.

Again, pinch welds are for lifting the car.

I use a hockey puck under the jacking rail to get it in the air, and then notched pads on the stands at the stock lifting points.

I like to use ramps for oil changes, but I know the rino ramps I have now, the 2.3hhp Front air dam isn't going to clear.
I haven't seen a set that has a longer slope with less of a sharp angle other than race ramps(tm) and they are almost as much as a max jack post lift.
I have not looked for ramps for lower ride height cars, yet, but have not seen them in stores either.

For storage. My one car garage is tight.
Lifting them not an issue, where to store them is.

You could probably just store them under the car. Just line them up in the middle of your parking space. I had also thought of getting another set of Rhino ramps and saw them up on my bandsaw to make them lower profile.

Nice machine work, will hold the weight up. Not really stable, foot print is scary ...........
Could knock the car on the floor in a heart beat.

They look nice, not safe.

Jacking on the pinch welds left a bad taste in my mouth long before they gave us better tools. I've had the pinch weld fold on one car. I've dealt with plenty that were rusting away.

Jacking rails were worth the money being that I do my own oil changes, tire rotations and repairs when it gets to that point. They save time and give me peace of mind. They just make lifting the car so much easier.

Of course you know Ford does not recommend lifting by the 'Ole Pumpkin, right?

Lots of reasons not to and it is an old way that no longer applies.
