That's not really true. Everyone knows (or should know) where the approved jack points are.

The issue is how to safely get the car onto stands. Or even more generally, how to lift up the front or rear on both sides so you can do things like install a cat-back. As you will see if you read the four pages, there are a lot of different ways.

So it's not really surprising that this keeps coming up. I think there should be a sticky.

i have my own 4 post lift in my garage and I place 2 front pads under the front K member and 2 pads at the rear body welds . All cars are very much the same if they have no frame .
