Hello All,
Monty here from Louisiana. I picked up this Roush Stage 3 on Thursday from Texas Hot Rides near Dallas. It’s been a few years, (2007) to be exact, since I’ve driven a mustang. I had a 2007 GT with Ford Performance Cams and a few other goodies. This one is a 2019 with 12800 miles. The only mod that I’m aware of is the GT500 exhaust.

That looks like a hot ride alright! The front splitter is insane! I'm not too familiar with the Roush's, the grille treatment is nice.

I just bought my car from Texas Hot Rides two weeks ago! See the white 2015 50 Year a few posts up from yours here. I had a good experience with them. I drove up from Houston to check out the car. They pulled it out of the warehouse (moving a bunch of cars around) and let me and my cousin take it on a drive by ourselves. I bargained them down $1000, so not the deal of the century, but the price wasn't unreasonable to start with. They agreed to include fixing a wheel with rash on it that week while it waited for my transport to pick it up. It arrived in perfect condition and I'm a very happy camper.

They have a lot of Mustangs there, plus a whole bunch of other sweet rides. I regret that I didn't have time to spend just drooling over some of the other cars. It's like a car guy's wet dream in there.

So you're in LA, did you go there personally to buy the car or do it long distance?

Awesome! I made the drive up and trailered the car back home. You’re right, the guys at Hot Rides are top notch and passionate about cars. It was a great experience.

I just picked up my third Mustang last week. I previously had a 04 V6 and a 05 GT, with a few more cars between then and now. I started my search for a new Mustang about four months ago, originally looking at S650s, but I'm just not a fan of the styling.

I found this Oxford White 2020 GT Premium PP1 Manual with only 7500 miles on it, so I jumped on it. So far, I love this car, and surprisingly, I don't want to mod anything on it yet, lol.

We are Angelo and Yvonne.
We sold all our Fords to all Mopar's then SOLD all Mopar's to go back to Ford after owning a 2021 Base Bronco in 2022 as there was ZERO to buy. In 2024 finally got both of my 23&24 Wilds 2 dr. loaded
Since we sold our Hellcats, Chargers and Ram a new to use Pony needs to come home.

After looking months and months we found P2432 in Illinois chevy dealer ship with 3100 miles.

Fully loaded auto in Black, found the first owner and got all the papers and receipts for the car. Never saw car in person and ZERO clue it had mods till delivery day !!
93 and corn tune, Kooks headers, cats and FR springs and sway bars. Steeda bit in the rear.

We both over 55 no kids, so options, options is what we PREFER as we old. (CD player was a BONUSE!!)
The 2021 Bronco is the only base model we owned in 20 years, blank canvass SUV.

SO any questions ???

Hello all.. currently driving a very old high mileage infinti G37 which I have loved dearly.

Looking at a 2020-2023 Mustang to replace it and figured this is the place to do the research and ask questions about it.

Welcome to the forum, Charles. Doing the research and asking questions is the smart approach. You will find that this site and the people on it are like an encyclopedia for anything and everything related to the car you're considering.

Hello, cofab here in St Louis area.I’m new to the group. I have a 2016 eco boost premium convertible. I bought the car from a car lot in Ft Meyers Fl off of eBay ( a mistake) and have finally got it drivable. I know buying a car sight unseen is a bad idea, but I did it.
The car is a project car, it’s a lot of fun to drive.

I'm American living in Colombia the last 2 years. I ended up selling my RAM and boat in USA, and upgraded my 2022 BMW 118i for this 2017 Mustang GT Premium with 25k miles. The car is very clean and stock which is hard to find here. Happy to not have more loans. And I'm happy that it's fully loaded with the 12 speaker sound system, blind spot monitoring, and active cruise control. It's getting detailed, 2 new rear tires, 2018+ active exhaust, and a GT500 spoiler. I think I'll be happy with that. Active exhaust is a must as you can see in the last picture that my neighbors window is directly above my parking spot.

Hello everyone. The name is Alex. I'm from north jersey about 30 minutes from NYC, where I work. Had many cars throughout the years.

First car was a 1986 Mazda 626 with a carburated 4 cyl with an amazing 93 horsepower and a 5 speed manual that used to stall at every traffic light. Second one was a 1993 Buick Century with a V6. Fastest car in the world as far as I was concerned back then. Lasted all of 3 years before the timing belt went and fixing it would cost more than the car itself (I was still in High School at the time too). Then bought a 1993 Mercedes 190E off a neighbor with a dogleg 5 speed for $750. Nothing worked well in that car and parts were literally falling off as I drove. I kept it running for many years and eventually sold it for $3000. My first Ford was a 2005 Ford Focus with a 5 speed. Hated that car with all my guts and quickly traded it in for a brand new 2008 Nissan Maxima. My first lease. Hated the CVT but the car was comfy and luxurious and pretty quick. 3 years later, I find myself missing the manual. Lease returned and I go out looking for a 6 speed. Come across a 2008 Acura TL Type-S fresh off of a lease with a 6 speed manual and an LSD. Pull all my savings for a downpayment and finance the rest.

Spent several years with the car and loved every day of it. Then, the job changed and I had to drive into New York City every day, with stop and go traffic for hours. The manual became a nuisance and I was about to get married and priorities changed. I sell the Acura and get a 2013 Infitini G37 auto. Car was ok, definitely quicker than the Acura and really fun to drive on twisties. Rack up a ton of mileage on that car within 3 years and trade it in for a 2016 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400. Car was a hoot. Quick as hell especially with a tune but the family grows and we need an SUV and something comfortable for the long trips to and from work.

The 2020 BMW X3 M40i enters the picture. Car is new and I know I shouldn't touch it but I miss working on cars so I start doing everything myself. From oil changes, to suspension, to mods. Years go by, the bimmer is great and plenty quick but again I find myself missing the analog feel of the stick shift. And, working on a car that you depend on daily for commute gets tiring cause sometimes sh*t goes south. Decide to look for a project car and I've always liked mustangs but never owned one.

My first venture into mustang territory was a New Edge GT with a 5 speed which I bought off of Craigslist sight unseen (huge mistake) and had it delivered to me. Car looked bad and even worse underneath. Rust everywhere, clutch is shot, engine misfires like crazy. I quickly realize that getting it into shape will not be worthwhile and will take way more time than I had. I got it running and somewhat into shape and sold it for a decent profit. Decided to look into something newer. Loved the look of the early S550's and pulled the trigger on 2016 GT 6 speed with PP1 with 38k miles. It was way below market but needed some work, and still does. Car was abused by the previous owners but I'm getting her in shape step by step. I love the car, its got soul and character. Makes you want to roll the windows down and cruise all night long listening to the rumble of that coyote paired with the AWE exhaust and the community around them is amazing. Glad to be here.

Hello everyone.

Might as well rip the bandaid off. Lifelong GM guy and wanted to purchase my retirement toy. I have owned a C6 corvette and was going to get another but didn't want to deal with all the "corvette" issues and the prices are still stupid high. C7was out for me due to AFM...pretty much most of GM is out for that reason alone.

So I kept an open mind and really wanted certain things:
-performance and not worrying about dropping valves on a 20k dollar NA motor.
-newer and not 11 years old at a minimum.
-comfort...just a little at least.

The search started and what a roller coaster. If someone would have told me I would be in a 5.0 Mustang two years ago I may have fallen off my bar stool laughing. I won't bore you all on all the different directions this went:

First up was a 2013-14 Shelby GT500. I had a co-worker that so graciously borrowed me his 2014 Shelby. Now that is a fun car and I would have probably purchased one had the prices been a little more reasonable for the age.

Then I looked at some 2020-22 Ford Shelby GT500's. Wow. These are truly fun and special cars. Are these vehicles you track one day and then drive 300 miles to grandmas house? Not sure.

I started getting a little frustrated to say the least and then started looking at building my own Mustang. We took some DH and GT Premium cars out.

Then we stumbled across some Roush Stage 3 mustangs that sparked our interest. Did some research and test drives and waited for the right deal. That deal came around this past Friday and hauled it home from out of state back to Colorado.

This is my first Ford vehicle and so far really enjoy it. From all the research I have been doing this was the way to go.

Now to go find some 5W50 oil....don't worry, not going to start yet another thread on that topic.
