  1. Non-Mustang car identity help

That has got to be it! Thanks for the sharp car-spotting skills.
  2. Non-Mustang car identity help

I'm going through some old family photos and found a 1964 pic that includes a car I am having trouble identifying. Anybody really know 60s sports cars?
  3. How many miles are on your 50th Anniversary LE?

I know the feeling! I drive mine. It's not a perfect car, but it's pretty damned great and I love it.
  4. To all the manual drivers...

I've heard that's hard on the clutch. Have you had any problems from doing that, like needing clutch replacement?
  5. To all the manual drivers...

Living in Houston, probably one of the flatest cities in America, I will typically park in gear, no brake. If there is any possible slight incline, I'll do brake with gear in neutral. If there is a substantial incline, I'll do brake and have it in gear.
  6. Does your Gracenote work?

I don't think it's an update issue because I've listened to lots of mainstream CDs from 2015 or earlier and it's never populated any info with them. On Bluetooth it does populate all the info in the file, and it also does on CDs that have their own labeling. On the Toyota, it seems to be...
  7. Does your Gracenote work?

Not a 50 Years specific issue, but I figured I'd ask this here first, since everyone has a 2015 model (the only year with MFT system). The system settings has a Gracenote on/off setting. My wife's 2016 Toyota Highlander has Gracenote, which I believe is the gadget that identifies what...
  8. How many miles are on your 50th Anniversary LE?

Don't feel bad, it's hard to resist driving these cars! Given that these are now 10 year old cars, that's not high mileage at all, even for something that's not a primary car. I bought mine last August and have put 8k miles on it already (now at 23k)!
  9. My Journey Starts Here... GT vs Mach 1 vs GT350

It really depends on your use. If you want a comfortable cruising car that you'll never track or rarely use its full capabilities, a standard GT is probably the way to go. I bought a 15 PP1 recently after having an 11 standard GT for many years. I only drive on regular streets and highways. I...
  10. Goodbye for now

Sometimes life works like that, good luck in the new business! Car dealers are so cheesy! The car looks pretty sharp and obviously has had a lot of mods, but not a mention of any of them in the dealer description. I'll bet a human didn't even write that, just an automated narrative based on...
  11. Fuel/Gas Mileage Panel

I have absolutely no specific knowledge on this, but it sounds like a computer problem, so have you tried "rebooting"? i.e. disconnect the battery and reconnect.
  12. Do I need new suspension bolts with new shocks?

I replaced the struts/shocks and springs front and rear on my 2015 GT. I probably should have done more research before doing this project because I didn't realize until I was well into the job that Ford recommends replacing any bolts that are removed rather than reusing the originals. This is a...
  13. What’s Your Daily Driver Alongside the Mustang?

Thanks! My philosophy is that garages are for cars more than for stuff. If the stuff has displaced the cars, something is out of whack.
  14. What’s Your Daily Driver Alongside the Mustang?

HaHa! That is great. You're a very accommodating husband.
  15. What’s Your Daily Driver Alongside the Mustang?

Lots of us care! Good luck with the Edge. Hope your wife is OK.
  16. What’s Your Daily Driver Alongside the Mustang?

The Wifemobile/Family Truckster is a 2016 Toyota Highlander. We take that most any time the whole family is going somewhere. If it's just my wife and I, we will most often take the Mustang. My other car is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. I split driving pretty evenly between that and the...
  17. What’s Your Daily Driver Alongside the Mustang?

Just how on the edge is your wife that she needs TWO Edges?
  18. What’s Your Daily Driver Alongside the Mustang?

Congrats! First baby, or just the first daughter?
  19. Mustang V8 and cylinder deactivation system

Wow, this is actually the first I heard about Ram dropping V8's! I had to look it up, and yes the V8 is dropped for 2025, at least on 1500's. I would have thought Dodge would be the last to give up a V8. "That thing got a Hemi?" "Ummm...What is this Hemi you speak of?"
  20. Performance pack dash trim

These aren't parts that are subject to much wear and tear, so they would seem to be a good part to get from a salvage vehicle. Finding a wrecked PP car could be the challenge. Ecoboost PP also has the gauges, though I'm not sure if they have a different color/pattern. I don't have specific...
