Hey all,

I'm not necessarily new here, but I've been on a hiatus for the past few years after selling my last mustang and PCSing to Germany. My most recent mustangs were a 2011 (I think) GT, a 2018 GT with the Odin supercharger kit, and now my newest one I just picked up, 2022 GT PP. Happy to be back in the forums and learn from yall and talk to yall again!

Hi Mustang6g,

My name is Justin, been a fan of mustangs since I was little. I live in the Denver area and just picked up a manual grabber blue 2017 GT Premium PP to be my new DD. It's been a long 4 years since I traded in my 12 GT500 and I'm really looking forward to driving a fun car again. I'm no stranger to forums so hopefully I can start to contribute once I've had some time to learn about these cars.

The car is mostly stock other than a JLT catch can and a Corsa Extreme catback. I am definitely not the biggest fan of how loud it is, so if someone in the Denver area feels like trading exhaust setups then please hit me up. I have been trying to figure out if the car has been tuned because the throttle feels incredibly responsive and the auto start/stop doesn't appear to work. I haven't had a chance to take any good pictures yet, so we will just have to settle for the one.

Welcome, Justin! Aside from the catback, do they have an x pipe installed as well?

Thanks!

I just added a borla atak exhaust to it today and ordered bilstein b6 dampers. Looking between steeda dual rate or bmr springs.

After that I'll do wheels, stop the hop etc.

Hi everyone! :)

My name is Eva, I live around the Chicagoland area. I've always loved mustangs, was my dream car as a kid and now here I am on my third one! First one was a black 2015 GT PP2, second one was a grabber blue 2017 GT PP2, and the third (my current and my favorite), a twister orange 2020 GT Premium - all three of them 6 speed manuals (wouldn't have it any other way haha). I could go on and on about what I've done to all three of these, especially my current one, but I will save it for another time. This car is my pride and joy, here are a couple pics as of now (alot more coming)!

Welcome, Eva! The twister orange looks great with the black hood and roof!

I finally got some time to look into it. Everyone is correct, the car does not have the auto start/stop on it, the auto engine off feature is to reduce excessive idling. If you idle for a couple minutes with that feature activated it will pop up a warning message stating the engine will be shut off in 30 seconds, and then turn the engine off if you don't do anything.

New Mustang guy here. Wanted one since I was 16 and finally at 52 got one. GT PP1. I absolutely love it. Sold my other sports car and happy I ended up with the one I wanted. I was looking for a car that had the valved exhaust, and a few other things. But kinda hit the jackpot on this one. It was at the ford dealership up the road from my house with only 5200 miles. Quick question, I believe it’s stock suspension but how can I tell for sure it’s not lowered? Mike

I'm Mike. New here and new to the American muscle. Recently sold my Maserati and decided it was time to grow up and get myself an '18 GT 6s. 4 days owned and I love it.

Plans:
Full exhaust
Cold Air
Tune
Lowered

Next year, I might venture into forced induction; preferably supercharger (Whipple or Roush).

I have to get the striping and PPF redone. Previous owner had the PPF done to half of the front and the side panels, but it was not done that great. Also, part of the striping in the front is tearing up, so I am having all of that removed and redone. I just don't know if I want to do black stripes or destripe it completely.

I attached a few photos.

What’s up fellas,

I’m Seth, I bought my 18 GT PP about a month and half ago, replacing my 3rd gen Tacoma.

It was 100% stock when I got it, so far I have added RTR grills, hood vents, tint (only include that because it’s crazy expensive now lol), hood struts, JL catch can, mishimoto coolant res, Roush intake and Steeda X pipe. I’ve been looking at some of the cookie cutter tunes as a place holder until I throw boost at it.
