I'm just still annoyed that the 350HP from the Focus RS like 5yrs ago still hasn't made its way to the 2.3 Mustang but they are acting like 315 is impressive.
You can get Black Bullitt wheels cheap refurbished on ebay. I bought 2 as spares. Only difference vs OEM is the inner barrel is painted black instead of just clear coated. Look perfect other wise and i paid for 2 rears what Ford wanted for 1 rear.

Searching on the Zip there is like 7 other Ford dealers in that area. So maybe they just were not staying very profitable, or maybe something internal happened and people left.
The 19+ MT-82 with rev matching is solid, they fixed the quality issues. from previous versions. Most the issues people still have are about the rubber bushing used for the shifter mount or the shifter itself. Both of which are easy to replace.
Love this project. I've always felt like a 2008 Bullitt with 2019 drivetrain and 2001's shade of DHG would be about as perfect a car as you could get, and probably as close looking to the original 68 as you can get today.
Your blaming 3 states but also ignoring the EU, China and Japan where hybrids and electric cars are selling better than they are in the US. It makes 0 sense for companies to make cars JUST for the US when its cheaper to just bring over what they already make. There is a reason most companies...
Actually, they do care about consumers and the massive bulk of them do not care about v8's or manuals. They also know that people will buy what's in front of them and are less likely to actually order something custom as most cant afford to. Thats why Manual options went from standard on the...
I have an appt Wednesday but has anyone else had this?
Rev matching will randomly just not work... sometimes after 1-2 minutes of driving other times after miles. On a rare occasion it will also START working again. Normally I'll have to turn the car off and wait 2-5min, then restart and its...
It actually looks like hes MISSING the rear valance panel. There are no fins at all. It looks like there is a bottom panel though, so maybe an after market one?
Just dont count on reliability......
On a serious note I wish that they had figured out how to make the Voodoo more reliable and that the 2nd gen was more than just some QOL changes and been a power bump too. I was looking forward to what an actual 2nd gen Voodoo would have been able to put out...
Should be, stock motors held to 1200wheel with multiple passes for a few people. Its part of why I don't get why Ford made a point of saying the DarkHorse has stronger internals than the GT unless the 24+ GT is downgrading on internals. How many people will ever push over 800-900 wheel let alone...
I'm just holding onto my car long enough to see how reviews for the Integra Type-S pan out in about 6 months then test drive one. With how much traffic is on the road anymore, and how horrible many seem to drive with 0 cops around to pull them over, I'm done driving a powerful sports car. Not...
Yeah but thats literally just an ECU tune away. I think his point is couldn't a GT500 with JUST an ECU tune do this? And if so.... whats the big deal?
I mean in 2000 I changed my Escort to be electronically limited from 106 to 255, doesn't mean i could hit it, but thats like saying I changed...
Wait, wasn't a previous GT500 tested to do 200MPH? How is just 4MPH more the worlds fastest? Did no one at all just do a pulley swap on a 6.2L then do another top speed test?
