If the tick is not in time with other engine functions such as ticking from injectors, it is not normal. Don't give a damn what Ford says.

Just drive the piss out of it for 5/60k see if she's loyal. I have had the tick since 2400 miles. Now have 31,500. Like clock work, comes back after every oil change. Subsides for the most part after 2k miles.
