I would doubt any insurance would consider it Totaled.
No frame damage, cosmetic bolt on parts only..
New airbag, reset module and you’ll be fine. Did the belt tensioner also trigger…
I recently had a track incident with a Tirewall..
Did this :
2F748AD6-8D47-49D9-94F9-BA99B9EB2372.jpeg

Both knee and wheel airbag deployed,
Smashed Radiators, creased the fender support rail.
Both fenders, pass door and mirror, hood, rads, bumper/grilles, all support brackets, airbags, all lights and splitter..
Track Insurance estimate came back at $17k on a $40k agreed valuation.
This is it now, stripped and ready to rebuild.

Glad there was no injury and you didn’t hit anything or anyone else.
Once you get through the skin and shock.. it will look and feel much better.

Edit to add.
Although it’s a GT.. I am going with a modified front end.
GT350 fenders and after market GT500 bumper for the additional cooling and space for additional Oil cooler.. and Carbon Fiber vented hood.
Fenders are on back order, but one is in transit and the other due to ship in 2 weeks. Bumper comes Friday 1 week wait and CF hood in 4 weeks.
All other parts are readily available.
Plenty of sources, OEM and aftermarket.

The belt tensioner did trigger. The seat belt is completely fucked. Is that expensive or something?

OEM belts are $400 ea, knee bag $350.
I have full 6 point harnesses, so the original belts can go now..

Ooof. Well glad you're ok though that's what really matters.

It's kind of strange that the knee bag went off but the steering wheel bag didn't. I'm assuming to set the wheel bag off 2 or more sensors need to be absorbed in such an impact? Also with most of the impact being passenger side, one wouid have expected the passenger side dash bag, A-pillar or overhead side curtain would have deployed beingbthat most of the energy absorption was in that side of the car. Strange how the sensors decide when to deploy or not.

To be totaled out, in most States the damage has to exceed 72%-75% of ACV. As others mentioned, hard to tell what is damaged under the hood, inner wheel well, underside or after the fender is removed - but just what is seen in the current images I'd say it's a solid minimum of $20k in damages (including prep/paint) being that some of those parts are genuinely Shelby-specific.

Due to the current supply chain issues, parts delays are to be expected and who knows what's even available for the current Shelby-specific parts.

Considering current retail is anywhere from $58k-$65k depending on region and condition for a replacement, I'm not seeing a total loss claim (right now) - unless the hidden damages and shop rates are excessive.

Glad you made it unscathed. I only have so much sympathy for the deer (more so for the little one) after one nearly killed me on one of my motorcycles back in '09.

I am surprised at the amount of damage though. Must have been a big doe. I wasn't expecting that level of carnage. 😳

Ouch! My biggest fear. When I drive to work in morning, 45 miles of back roads. Every morning I see deer, turkeys, racoons and ground hogs. Sometimes they scare the hell out me.
