I had a 996 C4, should have never sold her, put 173k miles on her. Never had a issue either. While a major bummer for those unfortunate who did have issues loved that car even with the headlights.
Well today I used the Ford Protect or whatever they call it. Thought my starter was going bad. Turns out it was the clutch starter sensor. That's the second time it's been replaced. I asked what it would have cost me but that part of the paper work was already past on.
Trying to remember but it was sort of a catch 22. Something about schedule maintenance but there is no schedule maintenance for an item. I can't find the post.

When I first saw her she did the Halloween cat pose, hence her name Boo. My time with her was too short. She was a brave and adventurous kitty. A great hunter. Yesterday I watch her kill a big mouse then eat it. I'll miss her dearly.

Yes rates jumped over 1k from when I first started looking. Rates are set to jump again October 3rd if I remember correctly.
