  1. First string alignment

No. Car sits on a QuickJack lift. Straight up in the air to do whatever adjustments needed.
  2. First string alignment

This happened to me every time when I started too. No matter what, if I tried to adjust toe with the car on the ground, it jacked up something; moved the wheel, etc. No matter what slick object I put under the wheels, it just didn't work for me. It's a bit more time, but now I; measure...
  3. Steeda/FedEx Shipping…can’t be just me?!?!

I once did an Amsoil order from home. Just sitting at the computer downstars at the desk. I got everything in the shopping cart and was about to hit submit when the doorbell rang. Ran upstairs to get the door and it was the UPS guy with my Amsoil order! True story! LOL ;) But seriously...
  4. First string alignment

AWESOME and congrats. I thoroughly enjoy doing mine. It's a slow process - you'd never be able to make a living doing strings, lol - but you'll get faster every time as you run across new tricks.
  5. Spark Plugs Out!

Yup. Iā€™ve got a ā€˜02 5.4 thatā€™s blown two clean out. One blew so strong, it broke the bolt tap off the coil. I actually splurged and bought the nice, correct TimeSert kit designed just for this condition. I started a business renting that tool out to the community. No early idea how many...
  6. Spark Plugs Out!

I remember the last one I did was my dadā€™s truck with that motor. We broke 4/4. Nothing you can do with these plugs, IMO, but send it. Theyā€™re gonna break, or not. Itā€™s up to fate. But that Lyle tool is pretty awesome. The four that broke was a non-issue. But stillā€¦dicking around with broke...
  7. Looking for spring recommendations

So this is me thining outlout... Looks...both are going to sit about the same. Moot. The funny part with your spring choice is this....the word on the street says the numbers for the FP rear springs are toooo soft. The same rumor mill says the numbers for the Steeda springs are waaaayyyy too...
  8. Spark Plugs Out!

Anti-sieze on this engine fo-sho! But next guy?? She say's we keeping it in the family!!!!
  9. Spark Plugs Out!

    Thanks Charlie!
  10. Spark Plugs Out!

Brothers and sistersā€¦I donā€™t even care!!!! I had to tell someone and you guys are my favorite group. Modsā€¦delete this thread if you must, but Iā€™ll take how ever long this thread lives in complete joy! So I picked up a stupid ridiculous clean ā€˜05 GT for my daughter. Going through the car bumper...
  11. What did you do to your GT350 today?

@Les What LSP are you (or did you) put on top of it?
  12. UPR Billet Oil Drain Plug - Thoughts?

Iā€™m typically not this guy and all for the mods, but on this topicā€¦if it ainā€™t broke, donā€™t fix it. Thereā€™s absolutely zero issues with the stock plugā€¦show me one thatā€™s failed. Agree with Charlie tooā€¦Iā€™ve got Fumoto on everything.
  13. Steeda/FedEx Shipping…can’t be just me?!?!

I donā€™t recall seeing that option, but will look for it from now on.
  14. What did you do to your GT350 today?

The time of the black wheel is over; it is time for them to leave middle earth. The time of some other color is upon us.
  15. Steeda/FedEx Shipping…can’t be just me?!?!

@tj@steeda Iā€™m out. Will not make another purchase from Steeda thatā€™s gonna come FedEx.
  16. What is a towing capacity to shoot for to drag the GT350 around?

Manufacturer towing capacities areā€¦generousā€¦also. If that ranger will tow 5,500 lbs, then thatā€™s on flat ground, tail wind, ideal conditions. If youā€™re pushing that number, it wonā€™t be an enjoyable, stress free experience. And keep in mind a Raptor anything is not ideal for towing. Sure, itā€™ll...
  17. Steeda/FedEx Shipping…can’t be just me?!?!

And Boomā€¦I continue my perfect track record with Steeda and FedEx. A $2,200 order aggravated. Got the noticed today when it didnā€™t deliver as scheduled. And with every other FedEx delivery, now itā€™s anyoneā€™s guess when Iā€™ll get it. My process is always the same; I get tracking info, I get...
  18. SPL adjustable LCA and tension rod install

My guess would be you didnā€™t get lengths and such as close as you think you did. Iā€™m not super familiar with the adjustments on those arms, but very very tiny adjustments make significant changes in toe. And with those arms, thatā€™s a lot of moving parts. Things are going to be off.
  19. Revology 1968 Mustang

Thereā€™s also these guys that only build rollers. No drivereain. https://hitechlegends.com/pricing/
  20. Revology 1968 Mustang

Not basically, that's exactly what they're doing. I haven't seen the Leno episode yet, but I've been a fan of these guys for quite some time now, and I do not believe they will restore/donor an old car. It's like you said, their production is brand new. They are a brand new car manufacturer...
