I don't believe the brake booster piece was cracking, but there was a post where somebody had trimmed the liner away to provide more clearance for it. I just did my kit yesterday and will check for a witness mark and do the same if needed.

Married to the vin.
I left mine on my 2019 when I sold it to Vroom. I also left the Ford ProCal tuner in the trunk. I bet the new owner never got it, and has no clue that it has the kit and tune.

You are probably right. Unfortunately those type of things tend to go missing even when they are intended to be included.

So I ordered a tune from Lund, just to compare and give it a whirl. Told them I had a GT with the FP pack (TB and CAI upgrades). I reflashed to stock with the FP handheld, read the stock with the RTD+, uploaded, and then reloaded the FP tune. They sent me a 91-93 tune marked (Bullitt/CAI) yesterday. So I took the FP handheld, flashed to stock, loaded the 91-93 lund with the RTD+, and then the car turns over gets going and dies within a second lol. Fun times, back to the drawing board. So I loaded the FP tune back on.

Ive used several tuning handhelds, and other than the advantage of BT on the RTD+, the FP handheld is so simple and reliable. Be curious to see what Lund says today.

I'm sure they'll get it straightened out. Curious what was missed.

Yeah, I don't sweat it. been thru this before. My last 5 cars have been tuned. I asked if they wanted the FP tune or the stock, and they said stock. I also explained I had this:

I guess the throttle body mapping is off.

TB is usually the tricky part of the tune but it's usually more a driveability issue. I had assumed since the detail was included in the tune submission this was accounted for but it's definitely a possibility.

I have the kit and like it. I’ll keep the way it is or go the supercharger route.

I like the kit too. I'm more just goofing off at this point.

I'm scheduled to have mine installed on September 15th, I hope it's as good as advertised.

It looks cool. OEM parts and the FP handheld process is so easy. Maybe Lund or PBD gets more power? But it's a great setup. Little pricey I guess, but still...

They asked for engine photos. Sent an image when I removed the stock intake and TB, just open hole to the intake manifold. Then the second image after installation stating it was OEM Bullitt TB and OEM Bullitt CAI. Got a tune right away, so....

So LUND is on it then is what you're saying? Send some vid clips when you run it and share a review. I like what I'm reading and may go this route and hide behind my extended warranty and flash it back when needed if possible. Keep us posted. Also, are you getting the Flex Tune, and E85 as well?
