With those codes, your OBD will never pass either way.Could I drive it around as is on the stock tune and have all monitors go green or is that a bad idea? If I have emissions systems enabled will the CEL go on? Will I then fail inspection for that? No risk of failing the visual side of the inspection, just need to get past the OBD2 part
I’ve gotten a combination of defoulers to work over the past 20 years with no cats. Just takes a lot of testing and trying different combinations and spacing etc. Area74 electronic cam sims work every time, but they are now $120 each.2.
Defoulers are no guarantee. Also your non functional IMRC (all though not sure if that's considered emissions).
Any chance you could drop a link to those? Do they work for the Cats, O2S, and HRT?I’ve gotten a combination of defoulers to work over the past 20 years with no cats. Car has C&L CAI, GT350 throttle body and intake manifold and MBRP long tubes. Thinking I am just going to get an OEM exhaust and a new tune. Seems like the easiest optionStock tune + your mods is gonna be a problem. With the mods you have, it should run like complete shit if the mods are on the car. TB, CAI and IMRC locked out is a big issue for the stock tune. Take a picture of your engine bay with the engine cover removed. You need to confirm what's on the car before you go much further.
Are you sure that it has those mods and are the IMRC locked out?Yeah it was awful, 0 torque in the low end. Car has C&L CAI, GT350 throttle body and intake manifold and MBRP long tubes. Thinking I am just going to get an OEM exhaust and a new tune. Seems like the easiest option
The FRPP 2&3 tune's need the GT350 CAI.His C&L is a no tune required CAI iirc.
